If you've ever wondered how long you should dedicate to a specific task, research literature points to the key importance of so-called ultradian cycles, a concept less known than circadian cycles.
Circadian cycles are the biological rhythms that occur over a period of approximately 24 hours, such as the sleep-wake cycle. However, ultradian cycles, which are less known, operate within an interval of approximately 90 minutes. These cycles influence how our brain and body function throughout the day.
When we tackle a task that requires focus, whether it's studying, exercising, or learning something new, the crucial question arises: How much time should we dedicate to it?
