Clone Perdue Chicken Breast Nuggets

Ingredients:

1 lb Perdue chicken breast tenderloins, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup breadcrumbs

Oil for frying

Directions:

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

Mix well.

Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

Dip the floured chicken pieces into the beaten eggs, and then coat them in the breadcrumbs, pressing the coating onto the chicken to make sure it sticks well.

Repeat with all the chicken pieces.

Place the chicken pieces on a plate or baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help the coating stick better.

Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350 degrees F.

Carefully drop the chicken pieces into the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked through.

Use a slotted spoon to remove the chicken from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
