Carl East

Carl East was born in 1956, in the City of Hull (officially Kingston upon Hull), in Northeast England. He began his writing career after turning 40, beginning with imaginative tales and then moving onto short stories. In the years that followed, he improved his writing skills with the help of other writers and online authors who gave of their time and skills, to offer advice and constructive criticism.  His vivid imagination took off as his writing explored the various genres of Science Fiction, Horror and Romance. He attained his greatest success while writing Erotic Fiction as he weaved stories of lusty encounters with distinctively entertaining characters to tickle the fancy of the growing fans of Erotica.  The years of heading out the door to a factory, manufacturing, or service job is now a thing of the past. Instead, he spends his time in a pleasantly chaotic home office, legs stretched out as he ponders his next story. With a steaming hot cup of tea and snacks by his side, the keyboard silently awaits, for the next “Ah Ha Moment” when another story begins.

    Too Familiar

Ihad the incredible luck of being reincarnated into a world where magic exists and is openly used by almost everyone. Of course, some are more proficient than others when it comes to the truly powerful spells, and that’s where I come in. My name is Barry but my friends call me Baser. I remembered my previous life when I was around five or six years of age. I was laying underneath a tree practicing my first spell when the memory of who I was in a former life came flooding back to me. Back then, I distinctly remember sitting up and shouting out the name John.

That’s what my name was. Oh, my God, I remember everything. How is this even possible? I said aloud.

That little outburst turned a few heads my way, so I decided to move to a more secluded spot. The revelation that I could remember a previous life was unbelievable to me back then and because it was such an exciting one, I felt that I had to share it with the people I knew and loved or at least trusted. However, even my new parents didn’t believe me, and worse still my friends openly made fun of me. In the end, I was forced to stop telling anyone. The fact still remained however, that I could remember a great deal about my previous life. For instance, I knew that in that other life magic was a fictional power and that spells couldn’t be performed.

I also realized that I had come from another world, due to the fact that it only had one sun, whereas this one had two. I also remembered the technology from that other world, and all the awesome things you could do there, such as play online games. We didn’t even have electricity in this world, let alone game consoles. Basically, magic provided us with everything we needed to survive. It wasn’t until I was in my late teens that I started to take what I knew about my previous life a little more seriously. It dawned on me one morning that they possessed things back in my previous life that we didn’t have here. The one thing each world did have in common was the love of money. So, how can I benefit or profit from all this knowledge, I thought, one morning over breakfast.

It was while I was thinking about
