THE STATE IN THE CRISIS. DEMOCRACY, LEGITIMACY AND FINANCIAL CRISIS
THE MAIN CHARACTERISTIC OF THE CURRENT CRISIS IS ITS DURATION: inflation that goes up and down, rates that go up and down, production that goes up and down, paint the picture of a situation of equilibrium in chaos. What is notable is that the democratization processes that began in the 1980s are still going on, accompanied by an ever-increasing concentration of income and social fragmentation, weak social mobility and a financial crisis.
DEMOCRACY, defined very loosely as "several parties, election of rulers and a small number of political prisoners", LIVES WITH FORMS OF LEGITIMATION FROM THE PAST.

DEMOCRACY, defined very loosely as several parties, election of rulers and a small number of political prisoners
, LIVES WITH FORMS OF LEGITIMATION FROM THE PAST.
The various forms of legitimacy
The degree of legitimation and the different forms it acquires (COMMERCIAL, CULTURAL FUND, STATE INTERVENTION), allow us to characterize the type of political regime to which the government belongs: MILITARY DICTATORSHIP, CAESARISM, POPULISM, CLIENTIAL PRESIDENTIALISM, PARLIAMENTARISM, ETC. SEVERAL OF THEM ARE COMPATIBLE WITH DEMOCRATIZATION. IN TURN, THE WITHDRAWAL OF THE STATE FROM THE ECONOMY MORTGAGES THE LEGITIMATION.
The commercial legitimation
THE MERCANTILE LEGITIMATION IS BASED ON THE GENERALIZATION OF THE MERCHANDISE, THAT IS, THAT THE MERCHANDISE IS AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE. DEMOCRACY DEPENDS ON THIS GENERALIZATION
THE GENERALIZATION of merchandise DAMAGES THE SOCIAL RELATIONS OF PRODUCTION that allowed the production of these merchandise, in what is known as FETISHISM OF THE MERCHANDISE, which in turn is the foundation of the FETISHIZATION OF THE STATE. Just as IT HIDDEN THE RELATIONSHIP OF PRODUCTION, SO IS THE CLASS NATURE OF THE STATE, which does not appear for what it is, but rather as an arbiter, above class interests, above and alongside civil society.
When we analyze the relationship between commodities A and B, the apparent phenomenon is the equality of things. This is what is called objectification: A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MEN TAKES THE FORM OF A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THINGS.
What made this production possible, the existence of these things, does not appear. For EXAMPLE: a worker works 48 hours a week, earning $650, which we will assume will serve to rebuild his workforce. If the employment contract is respected, the equal
sign prevails. There is no theft, everything is legal. If the capitalist pays less than $650, the worker is robbed. There will be a trial, and the State will be able to force compliance
