Hope in a Hopeless Time
()
About this ebook
It's hard to be hopeful during these trying times. We have come out of two years of strict restrictions and mandates. However, as I write this, the mandates and restrictions are slowly lifting, and a new dawn is arising. Finally, people are going back to restaurants, enjoying the company of friends. Also, people are once again gathering for religious services.
However, I can’t help but have a cautious optimism. I am pretty sure that we are probably past the worse of this pandemic. However, there will be new variants cropping up and we may be forced to be cautious again.
Regardless of what happens in the future, right now, things are going in the right direction, and we can’t help but rejoice about that. All our hard work, social distancing, and vaccinations have paid off. Now we have the rare opportunity to rejoin life again.
I hope you have found this e-book uplifting. Further, I hope you will incorporate a few of my tips into your daily lives so that you can make your life much more hopeful and less depressing. But I still want to caution you to remain vigilant in order to stay safe.

Introduction
It can be so hard to be hopeful at a time of pandemics and mass destruction and uncertainty. Yet, most of us should at least try to be hopeful because to be hopeless is to give up and to just give into dread and dismay.
I believe we must not give into dread. It can become a bad habit and a self-fulfilling fallacy. And it certainly can put a real damper on the quality of your life. Therefore, it’s extremely important for you to ensure that you always stay as positive as possible in order for you to live your best life.
In this e-book, I will examine some important ways that we can ensure that we are hopeful. I will start by discussing how hard it is to live life if you are always hoping for the worse and when your negative thoughts become self-fulfilling prophecies. This can not only be detrimental to how you view your life but also how you live.
There is no doubt that we are going through dark times. There is armed conflict in many parts of the world, racial and religious discrimination, hate crimes, terrorist attacks, a political swing to the far right fueling demonstrations and protests that, all too often, become violent. The gap between the haves and have-nots is widening all the
