OF MY STORY
I t was August, 7 th , 2017, and the sky was cloudy in Parkview.
Jack hurry up or you’ll be late for school!
said mom. I was putting on my clothes.
Give me a minute.
I yelled.
One, two, three, four, five!
Yelled mom.
I wish I was adopted into a different family then this one. I was getting all my books and folders and putting them in my backpack. Then I went downstairs.
It took you two minutes not one.
said mom.
It’s an expression I didn’t mean it literally.
I said.
Here’s your breakfast,
said dad.
It’s just an apple?
I said confused.
I don’t care Jack!
yelled dad.
Goodmorning Finn.
Finn is my adopted brother.
Good morning Jack have you studied for your trigonometry test?
questioned Finn.
I forgot, I’m going to fail the test.
I said.
Then we silently ate breakfast. Then mom and dad gave our lunches. My lunch was pizza and diet coke, and Finn’s lunch was a sandwich and kool aid.
Okay let’s get in the car now so you guys can go to school, and remember all school days this week will be a early dismissal.
dad told us.
Then we went to the garage.
