    INTRODUCTION

A few months back I viewed videos and pictures of people I knew that were cutting themselves and repeating that they wanted to commit suicide. Which motivated me and lit the candle in my mind to start writing this book, so that people would understand the power that’s within them.

    CHAPTER ONE

THE POWER OF BEING YOURSELF - ACCEPT YOURSELF

In life, sometimes we may not like the way we look, or we’re not satisfied with the way God made us. Usually when we don’t like the way we look we end up changing a few things about ourselves. For anyone who may be feeling like, they don’t like their nose, the way they smile or how their eyebrows connect. I would like to remind you of a bible verse written in Psalm 139:14 says, I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. Every time I read this verse I gain confidence because it reminds me that God doesn’t make mistakes and also that I’m fearfully and wonderfully made. You were made in God’s own image. You were made to be YOU and not someone else.

We have so many opinionated people in the world today, but it’s up to you if you allow them to get your focus. Sometimes, people call me names and say hurtful comments to me, but I know who I am and who God says I am, therefore, those comments don’t hurt me.
