Reigning While It’s Raining
There are times when it seems like every day has rain in the forecast. The rain never stops and it seems as if the sun never shines. The gloomy, dark sky hovers and the ground gives way to the direction of the rain. Just as the environment responds accordingly, I have found that we too respond to rain. Rain has the ability to uproot and settle. For some rain is a soother; for others, rain brings about a feeling of discontentment and depression. In this journal, I want to take life experiences and show you how Reigning While It’s Raining is possible!
Chapter 1 - I Can’t Get My Hair Wet
So, I am natural but I also love me a good weave from time to time. When I see rain instantly I think of what type of hair I have
at that moment and how the rain will affect my hair. Silly, but hey I am sure I am not the only one! The feeling of not wanting to get my hair wet makes me think of our reluctance to changing our mindset. In this case, we’ll think of our hair as our mindset.
