About this ebook

One of my choices that I absolutely enjoy about writing is being able to totally use my imagination to tell a story. Pals of the Trades is one of those I wrote using that part of my brain that God gave me to use for such a book, along with my determination to finish it. I want to thank my wife, Joann, for her love and support.

Outside the candy store Mr. Hammer is eyeing up the job for his good friend, Sam The Candy Store Man, who asked for his help with a major problem. At the Early Bird Market the two accidentally bumped into each other coming around the corner at the soda aisle. Both were surprised to see one another after so many years. They shook hands and gave one another a friendly hug, along with a pat on the back. The two of them made small talk about all the crazy things they did when they were younger and shared a good laugh over the pranks they used to pull on people.

So tell me Sam, asked Mr. Hammer, What have you been doing all this time? I just learned from a friend that you moved into the neighborhood and bought a candy store in a strip mall near here. I was planning to come over around noon today and surprise you with a visit. I thought probably we could go out to lunch and catch up on our lives."

That would be great, nothing would please me more,
