Meet Joey. She's not your everyday hot chick, she's tough enough to handle anything thrown her way. she's also not afraid of being the best at what she does. She's the number one welder in the city, if not the state. If that's not reason enough to not mess with her she's also a werewolf.

Meet Logan. He's not your average accountant nerd, he's also too hot to believe. he also has a jealousy streak to match that level of hotness. He's great at his job but he's looking for more than just a job he's also looking for his soulmate but not so easy with his werewolf.

When these two meets there is no denying the passion but just because the connection is real doesn't mean it's meant to be. especially when families and ex-girlfriends join the mix, all future plans for the two go right out the window.

Arranged Marriage - Toni A.J. Williams

I want to dedicate this to my wonderful husband that has supported my writing dreams since the start. Next, I would also like to dedicate this to the FIA Crew, ya’ll have become my family and I don't think I would have finished this without all of you. Lastly my sister Sheila and daughter Jolene for all her help and letting me bounce ideas off you. Thank you everyone I don't know what I would do without you!

    Chapter 1

    Joey

Laying here on my back , on the cold hard asphalt, staring up into the black darkness above me. I strike my rod against the metal, and it ignites and all I can see is the raining of sparks all around me. As the glow from the sparks rain down and make the metal object above me visible, I continue to weld the two metal plates together. Being a welder is one of the most exciting and most beautiful things I have ever seen. Most women don’t get to see this, because welding is not a field most women go into, which is a complete shame. As you can guess I am not your everyday normal woman, and in more than one way.

First off, I love my work so much and I know that’s strange in itself, but welding is dangerous and thrilling at the same time and I enjoy every second of it. Like I said welding isn’t a field that you see many, if at all any women in. Because of that, I strive to be the best and not just as a woman welder but the best period and this is a goal I work towards every day. I get asked all the time how I got into this field of work and the answer is simple. Back when I was in high school, I enrolled in dual enrollment. There were a few things to pick from and I was not big into computers, I was sure as heck not girly enough for the cosmetology course. So the last two options were to take core college classes and I was all set to do that until I overheard some of the guys.

Dudes are you kidding? How could you honestly pass up grinders, plasma torches and welding? said one of the jocks.

That’s all it took, and I knew which class I was signing up for, so when I graduated high school, I had a certificate in wire welding to go along with my diploma. That certificate wasn’t enough for me though because I loved welding and I want to learn all of it with the exception of underwater welding. So after graduation I went right back to that technical college and enrolled in every welding course I could. Once I finished school and I knew everything there was to know, I started up my own shop. Joey’s Welding Shop and seeing that I have one of those names that can be used either for a male or female it works. I get so many customers thinking that Joey is a guy, and I can’t even pretend, that reason alone is the reason I know my shop didn’t tank when I started.

I mean I’m not stupid I knew being a female welder was going to be hard to promote so I did the smart thing and let everyone go on assuming Joey was a guy. Hoping that once they saw how great of a job I could actually do, then it would go over smoother that I was a female and not a guy. When they come to get their finished welded items, they are admiring the work, and they want to shake the hand of the guy who did it. Let me tell you the second I take my helmet off their jaws drop, always without fail. I can’t lie, I enjoy every second of it. I know their jaws are dropping because of the way I look; I mean wouldn’t yours? When what you were expecting is the furthest thing from what’s actually standing in front of you. Which I guess I can understand, seeing that I am a female that doesn’t look like she belongs in a shop and what they were expecting was a grungy, well-aged male.

But what you were seeing before you was this tall, toned, figure with curves in all the right places and she had long wavy jet-black hair cascading out of a welding helmet. Then on top of that to be looked upon with piercing blue eyes, and a set of full lips, your jaw would drop too. Don’t get me wrong I don’t have a big head about the way I look or anything, it’s just that when you work with a shop full of guys you tend to overhear a few conversations every now and then and a good bit of them are about me. It’s hard not to hear stuff like.

I swear I have died and gone to heaven; I mean have you ever had a boss look as Hot as Joey? Damn, she makes me so glad I chose welding as a career. And Mm mm...who knew coveralls could be so damn sexy, right?

When you hear that kind of stuff day in and day out it makes you realize you must not be that bad to look at. When I see how customers’ jaws drop the way they do, it gives me a little bit of joy knowing that they one, like my work, and two, are surprised at who did it. I am a Hot welding chick, and to make things even more interesting that is not the only fascinating thing about me, I am also a werewolf to boot. So my name is Joey Rae Woodland, and I am a sexy welding werewolf chick.

    Chapter 2

    Logan

Another day of sitting at my desk searching the Internet for jobs to apply to. I had spent all day doing this and all day yesterday and knew this was what I would be doing tomorrow as well. I had to do what was needed because a job was a necessity. I thought going to school to be an accountant meant it would be easier to find a job once I was finished, guess I was wrong. I didn’t care though I loved working with numbers, it had a calming effect on me.

With my wolf, I needed something that had that effect on me. He tended to let most of his emotions turn to rage and majority of the time me working calmed us enough that I am able to remain in control. I hate when I’m not able to rein him in and he releases some of that rage, nothing good ever comes of it. It makes it extremely hard to be in relationships and even more so to keep them because with my heightened sense of smell, we could smell guys on my girl, and I just knew they were lying to me and were cheating which would cause him to snap. So I told myself I would hold off on any more relationships until I had a job and that way, I would be able to calm Him down if needed.

I would hate to find that one special person that was meant for me and lose her all because He has some serious anger issues. I know he only gets so enraged because he wants love as much as I do, we don’t want to be alone forever. I hope one day to find that woman that is meant for me and can deal with my tendencies to be hot headed and not run from me. Then there is the fact that I’m hands down an absolute geek and claim it. I do mean full on total geek with the black rimmed glasses, the total love of all thing’s books and of course science fiction and fantasy.

The day I find the woman that can accept all of me I will do everything possible and even the stuff unimaginable to keep her. I may be a geek, but I know when I find her, we are not going to let her go without a fight. Besides finding a job she is the missing piece to our puzzle, and we will pick up the search for her after we have secured the job. I’m just hoping that finding a job is not going to take up too much more of my time. It had been another long day of going from ad to ad in the newspaper, taking my resume and applications to company after company trying to find a job.

I have honestly lost count of how many I have applied to at this point. You know it’s been a lot when you have gotten tired of the sound of your own name. I have said hello my name is Logan Dean Timber; it’s nice to meet you. So many times I can’t even keep count. At least I was heading to my last interview for the day
