About this ebook
As I sit and write it on paper, the words just start to rhyme in my head. Its like almost everything that happens I sit to write a poem out of it. So more than likely there will be a second book, hopefully. I hope everyone enjoys the poems. People have told Me, this would make a good coffee table book. And it made them think about things in their life. It sure did me!!! I thank each and every one of you for your time.

(1) You were like Mine
I got you when you were just a baby
Carried you in my arms like you were mine
Thought you would stay with me maybe
But it was just for a temporary time
I watched you eat, play, sleep, and grow
Have your little fits when you didn’t get your way
I’ve had you most of your life you know
Now they’ll come to take you some day
It doesn’t seem fair cause a bond we now share
And you think that I’m your mother
But these people they just don’t care
How they affect people’s life with each other
You know I’m sure going to miss you
And I hope that you stay well
I know you’re going to miss me too
These things you just can tell
Even though it’s time for us to part
You’ll always have a place deep in my heart!

(2) You and your cars
Zoom, Zoom, Zoom goes the little car
You don’t push it fast, but you push it pretty far
It talks to you while you’re pushing it
It’s a thrill to watch how excited you get
You laugh and mock it when it talks and sings
I see how much happiness and joy to you it brings
You love cars more than anything I know
And you love people to watch while you put on a show
You tap on our arms and point to what’s playing the song
And begin to dance, and with you we dance along
Then you have that look on your face like I’m so smart
I smile at you so big, my little sweetheart
sep.jpg(3) Too be a child
When your growing up you can’t wait to get older
You don’t realize all the weight you’ll have on your shoulders
To be like a big person is what you want to be
Along with that come’s a lot of responsibilities you’ll see
It’s like a whole different world on your own
It’s not as easy as living at your parent’s home
Enjoy the little things that you can while you’re small
Grab your friends and hang out with them all
So take my advice and be a child as long as you can
They’ll be time for you to
