Leroy Flemming
LeRoy is a graduate of Alabama State University an HBCU in Montgomery, Alabama. He received his bachelor of science degree in business management. He started writing pieces in 2000 when his mother passed away. He tells us that if it had not been for these pieces he may not have had any peace with such a tragic loss in his life. He often finds his spirit struggling with a question his brother James left him with before their mother passed. He asked over the phone: “What if something happen to mom and you don’t make it back in time? LeRoy’s answer was: “I will make it man I’m not that far away.” He didn’t make it there in time and these writings are his way of reflecting back, thinking forward in his present moments. He does not want you to cry for him. He just wants us all to make the most of the life we live by spending time with the ones we love and some time alone thinking about what our lives really mean.

Dedication
As I approach this final volume, I think about what a journey it must be to complete something when time appears to not be on your side. This final volume is the closing of my journey to wholeness. It closes all the pain I had when I loss my mother. It also completes for me my spiritual road to find myself and it shows how I tried to merge my mother passing with how I should live without her. Walking in my mind through this final chapter, I tried to convey to you, the reader, how I saw my mother and what she meant to her children. She took her time being a single parent to point her children in the right direction. I can tell you this was hard for her but with love she made sure we did our best to be decent human beings. I know most of the time when you listen to people they have a tendency to think there is no love in the projects or low income housing, and even in trailer parks, but a mother’s love shines through all that. Mother’s no matter the income level or housing conditions love their children.
She stressed to us all her life to love GOD, love your life, and take care of each other. You will always be blood so love your family. I close this out with joy, love, happiness, and feeling good. I know now that my heart does not hurt as much, I sleep much better, and all that noise that caused me to write is not there as much. Although, my dad was never there for me or my other siblings, I still have to be thankful for it was his life that gave me life. I could spend a lot of energy being mad but in this stage in my life what will it change. NOTHING! So I won’t, but I learn to love him in a different way.
I close this series out with the knowledge that we will all leave this earth at some time, so give this life, your heart beats, and breathing every ounce of passion you can–follow you dreams, accomplish all the things that are good, and last but not least all ways love yourself. This is the most important key to you accomplishing you dreams.
My mom tried to tell me this earlier on, but like most children, I could not see the value in me and where I grew up. I loved where I grew up; my homies’ always taught me to be tough and not give up. They fashion my manhood until it merged with my life. Although, some of them are gone I still appreciate what they did for me. Now, I see what my mom was saying, I may give out, but I will never give up!
I feel in it my SOUL now and it is not splitting any more. Timelightenment and Soulsplitting are my gifts to her as they were a gift because of her. I only hope that on the other side of this life she accepts gifts and my love for her. I’m still trying and doing what I told her I would do. I dedicate this series to her, my family, to all of you who reads my work. And to the DIVINE CREATOR who was walked with me all my life.

To Leo thanks for the pictures to help tell the story and the journey. To Shirley, Carlos, Vannie, Cheryl, Vern, Vonda, Audrey, Anne, Skylar, Clara, Kara and so many others for supporting what I have written. Your drawings feeds the story and the main development when the readers view the covers. It is my hope they see the journey to wholeness. To the readers I thank you as well for taking the time to read my writings, taking the journey to wholeness with me. To James, Carrie, Brady, and Kathy; you need to know these words are yours as well when I speak of our mother and our lives. To GOD none of this would be possible if you did not give my mind that noise which gave me the ability to write my breakthrough. I thank you from a physical, mental, and spiritual place. At the time of this publication Jill has released another novel titled: Shelter. Please go out and support her work. Here begins a new life for me and a life where I know man is not the beginning or ending of all things.

I look back on my life I feel grateful, successful and I don’t mean wealthy as far as money. Growing up my life was not easy but who’s is. All I can tell you is I am no different than you, I am human and I am me. I grew up in
