About this ebook

I decided to write the storms of the people I have encountered and their experiences throughout the years. I have been writing a book for years but never put forth an effort to make it come to pass because I was so ashamed of all the things that had happened in my life. This book is inspired by the true-to-life experiences that I had when I kept running into women that were in the same shoes that I once was in. I think God kept on purposely placing them in my path because he wanted me to share their story so that I can help someone else overcome their obstacles! Ive noticed that everyone isnt built like me! Everyone cant handle what I can handle because my storms were tailor-made for me. Ive been told that I make it look easy, but trust me, I wanted to give up several times! It was nobody but God who kept me going so I can share with you how I overcame what you may be currently dealing with.

Laney Lagarde

My name is Laney Lagarde. I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. I was raised in Richmond, California, and now I live in Spring, Texas. I am a mother of two amazing children, Alexus and Jamil. I am a sterile-processing technician. I am a volunteer at a women’s shelter. My purpose for this book is to help women struggling with depression, rejection, homelessness, and suicide. I want them to remember that prayer changes things! I know that it’s hard to see good during a horrible situation, but you will make it out of your storms if you faint not! You can’t give up! Giving up is an easy way out. You must continue to fight if you want to come out of your storms stronger than you started.
