About this ebook

What did he do to you?

After running from Adrian's place in the middle of the night, Isla's freaking out.

That's when her best friend Boris swoops in, showing a whole new side of his personality, one who's both frantic about taking care of her, and strangely fascinated by her wounds.

One way or the other, Boris is getting dragged into this.

Feel the knots tightening.

In this third episode of the erotic menage serial Twisted Friends, Isla's relationships with both her leading men reach a tipping point.

Hi! I’m Jo. I write character-driven steamy romance. My stories tend to come in serials because I love complications. I find nothing’s spicier than characters taking a life of their own.So prepare for adventurous scenarios, very sophisticated friendships, dangerous games, power plays, leading ladies, sexy tricksters, and handsome princes in distress. I like dark alpha males as well as vulnerable cuties. And my female characters tend to come with a rebel streak or a temper. Sue me.You can read stories out of order if you’re just here for a one-night stand. Or you can climb in for the entire ride, thrills, emotions and all. That’s up to you.Firsts in series will generally be free. When a story arc is done, bundles will ensue, and they will read like novels, with a Happily Ever After, or at least a Happy For Now. Stay tuned!

This story is part of an erotic romance series, so it is loaded with adult content, sexy scenes, crude words, and even the occasional swear word. Be advised that it may come with weird side effects such as panties melting, hot daydreaming or, I don’t know, the occasional stiffy. If all of this is upsetting to you, you don’t have to read it. Also be advised that, while consent is exchanged, some of the characters' fantasies might run somewhat on the dark side.

Outside the car, the city was enjoying a very fine spring night. Even at this very late hour, two o’clock in the morning, there were still a lot of people out and about. The downtown streets were teeming with life and the exciting vibes of a Saturday night. Girls wore short dresses and heels, guys laughed a little louder than by daylight, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

In the car, however, the silence was polar. Boris, my best friend since kindergarten, always drove steadily, always signaled before he took a turn, and never went over the speed limit. Except tonight. Tonight, he was about 2 mph above the limit. Which meant he was probably beside himself with anger.

Thanks for picking me up, I said, inserting my sentence in the lulls of the turning signal’s metronomic ticking.

No problem. He flicked a quick, arctic blue glance at me, before focusing on the road again. Boris was one of those Scandinavian types. Ice cold on the surface, piercing blue eyes the color of melting icebergs, short dirty blond hair, towering height, built to withstand an ice age, lightning-fast reflexes, and a cold rational mind. Inside, he was just a cuddly bear. I’d loved him since we were in diapers. He was my best friend, or maybe even a tiny, unquantifiably little more than that.

This almost makes up for you going to a concert without me, I
