Hi! I’m Jo. I write character-driven steamy romance. My stories tend to come in serials because I love complications. I find nothing’s spicier than characters taking a life of their own.So prepare for adventurous scenarios, very sophisticated friendships, dangerous games, power plays, leading ladies, sexy tricksters, and handsome princes in distress. I like dark alpha males as well as vulnerable cuties. And my female characters tend to come with a rebel streak or a temper. Sue me.You can read stories out of order if you’re just here for a one-night stand. Or you can climb in for the entire ride, thrills, emotions and all. That’s up to you.Firsts in series will generally be free. When a story arc is done, bundles will ensue, and they will read like novels, with a Happily Ever After, or at least a Happy For Now. Stay tuned!

AURORA
Outside my window, the wind is howling, and the leaves have started to really shrivel and die on the trees. Cars are zooming by and people walking in the street hurry to get themselves to safety before the storm gets even worse. I glance at all this without noticing much. The things I see in my mind are far more interesting.
I’m painting the scene now. I’ve tried to get away with just drawing it again and again, all fucking weekend, but it’s not helping. It wants to be painted. Probably there are hidden things in the picture that I can’t see clearly on a simple black-and-white sketch. It needs the commitment of stroke and color. And I need the oil and turpentine smell to steady myself. I need to work so that I forget the aches in my body.
Or maybe I just want to touch that moment again in any way that I can, and so I’ve resolved to doing it with a brush for lack of other opportunities.
The painting is shaping up nicely, if by nice, you mean excruciatingly vivid. It’s an intimate scene featuring three characters. One’s a dark-haired girl with long locks and pale skin. The focus and the light are on her. She’s hanging from the dark ceiling by an invisible thread. Her arms and legs are folded in an uncomfortable pose that’s reminiscent of a butterfly’s wings. It’s unclear whether she’s a beautiful flying monster preparing to land, or just a human that’s been awkwardly trussed up and left there to hang. The other two characters are watching her, two men, one light, one dark. The light is softly gleaming off the dark guy’s leather jacket. The other one, the blonde, has turned his head to glance at the first man. Even in profile, you can tell by the way he’s devouring the other guy with his eyes that he’s burning for him.
While I’m painting, I keep hearing Dante Borghi’s last words to me, Anytime you need, Honey. It’s been the soundtrack to my life for the last three days, ever since Dante and Scott rescued me from the sex auction I’d let myself get trapped into. Ever since things happened between the three of us last Thursday night.
It was surreal, sexy, highly addictive, and it feels so fucking unresolved.
And not only because I was the only one who came that night. They were both too chivalrous and too nice to insist on their own release. If you can call nice and chivalrous someone who ties you up with your wholehearted blessing, spanks your ass pink and raw, then fucks you out of your mind while his friend is watching, like Dante did to me. And I believe you can call that nice. In my world, I’m finding that it is.
After that, we ended up in Scott’s huge bed. Falling asleep between both guys felt right. It felt like something I might definitely get used to if I don’t watch myself.
In the morning, though, both of them were gone and the big bed was empty, although the tangled sheets still smelled of delicious male. Scott had left a note, but it was
