Hi! I’m Jo. I write character-driven steamy romance. My stories tend to come in serials because I love complications. I find nothing’s spicier than characters taking a life of their own.So prepare for adventurous scenarios, very sophisticated friendships, dangerous games, power plays, leading ladies, sexy tricksters, and handsome princes in distress. I like dark alpha males as well as vulnerable cuties. And my female characters tend to come with a rebel streak or a temper. Sue me.You can read stories out of order if you’re just here for a one-night stand. Or you can climb in for the entire ride, thrills, emotions and all. That’s up to you.Firsts in series will generally be free. When a story arc is done, bundles will ensue, and they will read like novels, with a Happily Ever After, or at least a Happy For Now. Stay tuned!

This story is part of an erotic romance series, so it is loaded with adult content, sexy scenes, crude words, and even the occasional swear word. Be advised that it may come with weird side effects such as panties melting, hot daydreaming or, I don’t know, the occasional stiffy. If all of this is upsetting to you, you don’t have to read it.

    Love Voodoo

There’s Friday night—freedom after a hard week of studying, running to the university across the frozen, windblown town, waking up at dawn after a night of work waitressing. Friday, as in TFGIH—Thank the Fucking Gods It’s Here.

And then, there’s Friday night when the party’s at your place, that cozy apartment that you share with your two unofficial boyfriends, when you sleep with both of them together, and the rest of the world doesn’t know about it.

I’d come home early, skipping the last period to get everything ready. Drinks, snacks, ice, music, lighting, I wanted everything to be nice. It was celebration time. My friend Mariann had just arrived and she was busy putting beverages in the fridge. Normally it was full of colorful vegetables, because Sean went against stereotypes and was a very clean eater. But tonight, the kitchen was loaded with junk food and drinks.

They were all coming—girlfriends, colleagues, teammates. I was feeling a little overwhelmed, in the best kind of way. I’d been so lonely for so long. Due to a rocky start at university, when my former roommate had tried to sequester me in our flat, everybody had thought I was strange.

Yeah, that’s PTSD for you. My smile looked loopy sometimes, I could be jumpy and when in doubt, I kept to myself. As a result, people thought I was scary. They used to make detours, change paths just in order not to cross mine. I understood, in a way. Even when I was fine, I was still a little intense, fiercely loyal to my friends. Not a friend for everyone.

But I’d come a long way since I’d moved here and met my roommates Sean and Adam. Sure, they were popular on campus, as drop-dead handsome guys never fail to be, in a superficial view of things. Sean was blindingly beautiful, a black and white painting with his pale skin, dark hair, and bottomless black eyes. Adam was this rarity, a modest and kind jock, star of the basketball team, as shy and sweet as he was gorgeous.

I still didn’t really compute how they were
