    The emperor was amused when he first heard the stories. She was supposed to be a woman who was stronger than any man. The idea was absurd, and even as the peasants told their tales about gods and monsters, this was the most farfetched tale he had yet to have heard. He wondered where it had originated from but gave it as little notice as he would most fantastical tales.

    Then it became persistent. It seemed as if the stories were not going to fall by the wayside like these stories usually did. More and more tales of this woman’s impossible feats began to pour in, and finally the emperor heard it told by one his most trusted commanders.

    "We encountered her when we had gone to arrest a deserter outside of the capital. We knew that he had been spotted in a cottage just outside the city, and I had gone with six of my best men to try and round him up.
