About this ebook

“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; ….” (Revelation 12:9). “…. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.” (Revelation 13:3). Yes, the whole world is deceived, because the Christian Church is teaching and preaching the same deceptive message that the serpent beast used to deceive Eve in the Garden of Eden. It's not that the Churches, priests and pastors are evil, but rather they are deceived. They are deceived because they have set aside Jesus' teachings to embrace Paul's lawless messages. But Paul's lawless messages are contrary to what Jesus spoke. But so long as we listen to and obey Jesus’ teachings and commands we won’t have to worry about being deceived, for Jesus told us that he is to be our only teacher. Why our only teacher? As he said there are many false prophets in the world, who come in his name, some even doing signs, wonders and miracles, just to deceive us. Jesus is telling us to not listen to anyone but him, he will teach us all we need to know.
Who, why and how are others trying to deceive us? What is that deception? What do the deceivers speak that is contrary to Jesus’ words, or YHVH’s words? That is what this book is about.

    CONCLUSION

    PREFACE

When we have a microscope view of any part of object, focusing on the cells, molecules, or microscopic parts of that object, it’s generally hard to know what is, if we didn’t see the whole thing before hand.  We have to back away from the microscope and look at the object to see what it is.  We need to see the big pictures to know what it is we are looking at.

Or when we find a piece of a jigsaw puzzle, we don’t know what the big pictures is until the puzzle is assembled with all of the other pieces, and they fitting together to reveal the picture.

What is the big picture?  With only a few pieces it is so hard to tell that we can be deceived someone who claims to know what it is.  It takes time and energy to put all the pieces together, and once it’s together we will know exactly what it is.  But until then we can be deceived.

It’s time to put the pieces together and view the whole message of YHVH God’s word.

    INTRODUCTION

Throughout the New Testament Scriptures we read that Jesus often had verbal confrontations with the Scribes, the Pharisees, and the religious leaders.  But Jesus would end the arguments, when he would say something like, ‘haven’t you read….’  Then he would quote a Scripture (words of YHVH God or one of His Prophets).  And that would end the argument, because Jesus quoted the highest authority there is, and who could argue with that.  We do have to give the Scribes, Pharisees, and religious leaders credit for understanding that YHVH’s words are the supreme authority, there is no greater authority.  Unfortunately, many people today don’t grasp that concept.

As you read through this book, keep an eye out for YHVH’s words, as spoken by Himself, or by one of His Old Testament Prophets, or by Jesus.  According to Deuteronomy 18:17-18, Acts 3:22, 7:37, John 12:49, 14:10, Jesus spoke YHVH’s words with YHVH’s authority.  So, YHVH’s words were spoken by Himself, His prophets or Jesus, and those words are of a supreme authority, eternal and beyond reproach.  YHVH’s words, Jesus’ words and the words of YHVH’s prophets are all in agreement.

So long as we listen to and obey Jesus’ teaching and commands we won’t have to worry about being deceived, for Jesus told us that he is to be our only teacher.  Why our only teacher?  As he said there are many false prophets in the world, who come in his name, some even doing signs, wonders and miracles, just to deceive us.  Jesus is telling us to not listen to anyone but him, he will teach us all we need to know.

So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; …. Revelation 12:9. …. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.  Revelation 13:3

Who, why and how are others trying to deceive us?  What is that deception? What do the deceivers speak that is contrary to Jesus’ words, or YHVH’s words?  That is what this book is about.

Let’s study this from the Scriptures…

    Chapter 1 – GOD’S GOAL, OUR GOAL, SATAN’S GOAL

YHVH God’s goal is to establish a kingdom on earth, and He will populate that Kingdom with people of His choosing – people who love, obey and worship Him.  Our goal is be fit to enter that Kingdom so we will be among those chosen.  Satan’s goal is to keep us out of God’s kingdom.

God’s kingdom will be made up of those who love, obey and worship Him.  All people love and worship their god, the real questions is, who is their god?  Our god is always our greatest authority, that’s the only one we obey unconditionally.

We all have many authorities in our lives that we must submit to: parents, boss, law enforcement, IRS, teachers, religious leaders, doctor, spouse, God, Jesus, etc.  However, we all have only one authority which is our greatest authority, or greatest worth to us, which we will obey above all other authorities, and that authority is also known as our supreme authority.  Our Supreme authority is also our god.  YHVH God should be our supreme authority, but for most people their supreme authority is ‘self’.

The word ‘worship’ is made up to two words, ‘worth’ and ‘ship’.  We can only worship that which is of the greatest worth to us.  Our ‘supreme authority’ is the authority of greatest worth to us.  To submit to our supreme authority in obedience is an act of worship.  We can only worship our supreme authority, because we are willing to disobey all other authorities if their commands conflict with the commands of our supreme authority,
