About this ebook

I have called this book ‘A Christian’s Last Bible Study’ because after a person partakes in the studies that I share in this book, that person will be forced to make a decision as to follow Jesus or to follow the Church. And I’m convinced that after studying Jesus’ words, Jesus will set us free from all church deceptions, and we will no longer feel as though we belong in a Christian Church. This certainly would be your last Bible study, but perhaps your last one as a Christian.

We need to ponder, who is a ‘true Christian’? Is it the person a ‘true Christian’ when they keep all of the Christian Church’s doctrines and teachings and accept the Church’s creeds? Or is a person a ‘true Christian’ when they follow the teachings of Jesus the Christ?

Perhaps right now you don’t see the difference between Jesus’ teachings and the Church’s teachings, however that will become clear as you continue to study this book. Once you understand the difference you will be forced to choose between following Jesus’ teachings or the Christian Church’s teachings.

And as I will show you, there is a great deal of difference between what Jesus taught and what the Christian Church’s doctrines teach. The teachings of Jesus and the teachings of the Church doctrines are often not compatible, and often they contradict each other. And, ultimately, we all have to choose whether to follow the Church’s teachings or follow Jesus’ teachings. If we chose to follow Jesus’ teachings, we will be a ‘true Christian’ by Jesus’ standard, but we will be a heretic by the standard of the Christian Church.

This book has thirteen chapters in which will tells us why we must reject Christian Church doctrines and creeds. I have added the fourteenth and fifteenth chapters as a bonus, partially explaining why the Christian Church has been derailed from God’s narrow path leading to eternal life.

So, put your seat belt on, lower your defenses by setting aside manmade creeds and church doctrines, and open your mind to Jesus’ words, and then hang on for a ride that will change your life now, as well as your eternal life.

All bolding, highlighting, underlining, italics, parenthetical inserts or other emphasizing of the Scriptures is mine.

Also, please note; God sacred name, YHVH (sometimes pronounced, Yahoveh, Jehoveh, or Yahweh) was in the original Hebrew Bible more than 2000 times.  However, the Bible translators, for centuries, have removed God’s sacred name from the Bible and replaced it with the phrase ‘the LORD’.  In the verses which I have included in this book, I have restored God’s sacred name YHVH where the translator had substituted ‘the LORD’.  I did that for clarity and understanding.

    THE PREFACE

What I’m going to share with you in this book you will never hear in any Christian Church, because what I have to share is contrary to their manmade creeds and doctrines (teachings). Those doctrines and creeds are the core beliefs of the Christian Church, and they are ‘cast in concrete’ and they will never change.

However, I do not accept their creeds and doctrines because they fall short of what Jesus taught and what YHVH God commanded, and therefore they undermine YHVH God’s plans of salvation.

I attended a major Protestant seminary, but in my senior year I found that it was impossible reconcile Jesus’ words with Christian Church doctrines and creeds, so I came to the point where I had to choose between Jesus and the Church.  I chose to follow Jesus and dropped out of the seminary.  Jesus said he is to be our only teacher (Matthew 23:10).  So, I set Paul’s words aside, I set church doctrines and creeds aside and focused on Jesus’ words alone.

After focusing on Jesus’ words, I eventually had to separate myself from the Christian Church in order to follow Jesus. After 70 years in the Christian Church, listening to priests, pastors and teachers, and being indoctrinate with church doctrines and creeds, I was set free from those deceptions by studying and accepting Jesus’ words alone.

After studying Jesus’ words, I now understand that the Christian Church’s teachings and worship services actually dishonors both Jesus and God, so I will not attend.  I will explain all of that and more in this book.

The priests, pastors and teachers aren’t evil deceivers, they are nice people, but they themselves have been deceived by the same faulty Church doctrines and creeds they are expected to teach us. Even when they do teach from the Scriptures, it must be taught in a way that conforms to their doctrines and creeds.

The Christian Church started off good, but in a matter of a few hundred years it had completely morphed into a religion that no longer follows the Lamb, but rather it follows manmade doctrines and creeds, as I will explain.

So, put your seat belt on, lower your defenses by setting aside manmade creeds and church doctrines, and open your mind to Jesus’ words, and then hang on for a ride that will change your life now, as well as your eternal life.
