The Hidden End-time Prophesies - Webb Wainwright

    Preface

I am humbled to diligently and earnestly seek God and thereafter write this book that gives a clear description and account of the unfolding drama as history hastens towards the showdown or what in Christian parlance is referred to as The Blessed Hope.

Granted, there is a diversity of opinions about the interpretation of certain passages in the Scripture with regard to end-time events that herald His coming. This is why it is imperative that we painstakingly seek the Lord for the correct interpretations. The good news is that the Bible interprets its own symbols and with the right hermeneutics, we can easily decode the metaphors used.

However, the infallibility of God’s word coupled with our imperfections and the fact that The secret things belong to the Lord our God... cannot be gainsaid. Deuteronomy 29:29.

Hebrews 1:1-3 says that in the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways but in these last days He has spoken to us by His son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe.

Since Jesus is the Word of God that became Man and the epicenter of the past, present and the future, I find it prudent to curtain-raise prophecies fulfilling and prophecies (soon) to be fulfilled with the oracles about the Messiah in the Old Testament and their fulfillment in the New Testament.

Unless otherwise stated, all Bible verse quotations are from the World English Bible (WEB) which is a free updated revision of the American Standard Version. In this book, all pronouns relating to God and Jesus Christ have been capitalized.

    Prophecies about Jesus Fulfilled

Consider the following prophecy in Daniel 9:25-24 about Jesus.

    V25

Know therefore and discern that from the going out of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, The Prince, will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times.

    V26

After sixty-two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will be flood, and war will be even to the end. Desolations are determined.

In around 505 B.C, Daniel prophesied that it would take seven weeks and sixty-two weeks (483 years) from the time King Artaxerxes I issues a decree for Jerusalem and the Temple to be rebuilt and Jesus beginning His public ministry after His baptism in about 27 AD. King Artaxerxes I’s decree is recorded in Ezra Chapter Seven. King Artaxerxes I decree was issued in about 456 B.C. Jesus’s public ministry lasted about 3 years before he was cut off or crucified. He then stayed on earth for 40days after His resurrection and then went up to Heaven. About 40years later, the city and the sanctuary (Temple) were destroyed by the Romans.

The Messiah would be a descendant of Abraham.

    Genesis 22:18

All the nations of the earth will be blessed by your seed, because you have obeyed my voice.

    Galatians 3:16

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, To seeds,
