About this ebook

The Serpent Beast, in the Garden of Eden, used deception to get Adam and Eve to spurn God's divine authority. Deception is the serpent's (Satan) greatest tool. Today that very same deception is used unwittingly by the priests and pastors to deceive people in the exact same way that Adam and Eve were deceived. That's why Jesus gave us so many clear warnings, plain speaking and in parables. Anyone paying attention can't miss the message, unless they have been deceived. If you did miss Jesus messages on deception, I will point it out in this book. Are you deceived? No one will acknowledge that they are, because that is the nature of deception, you don't know that you are deceived, until you come face-to-face with truth that you can't deny. Jesus word is truth and that truth will set us free from deception. Let's study what Jesus said, and how it will set us free.

    THE PREFACE

Perhaps the most frequent message or topic in the New Testament is one of deception. The word ‘deceive’ or ‘deception’ along with ‘false prophet’, ‘false witness’, ‘falsehood’, etc, appear over 100 times. And in addition to that are the implied deceptions and deceived people.  It’s no wonder that ‘all the world is deceived’ (Revelation 12:9).  That was at the time of the writing a future prediction, but it is no longer in the future, it is here today.

    THE INTRODUCTION

In Matthew 24:3 Jesus disciples asked him Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?  In the very next verse (Matthew 24:4) Jesus began his reply by saying, "Take heed that no one deceives you."  Deception was Jesus’ greatest concern for his disciples.  Perhaps Jesus looked into the future, or was given a glance into the future and he saw that deception would be universal, and most people would be deceived, causing their own eternal destructions.

While the New Testament gives us plenty of instruction, warnings, and even gives us to content and the source of the great deception, the church has ignored it and fell into Satan’s trap.

The Church has fallen, hook, line and sinker for Satan’s great deception.  And since the Church is a human created organization, like a giant dinosaur, I don’t ever expect it to change, it can’t.  The foundation of the Church is it’s Doctrines what are cast in concrete and can never change. The Church has ‘fallen and can’t get up". So don’t expect your church to change or to aid you on your search for the truth.  You must seek the truth on your own.

Are you deceived?  That could almost be considered a trick question, because a deceived person doesn’t know that they are deceived, that’s the nature of deceptions.  Since deceived people don’t know they are deceived, they will answer that question with, ‘No, I’m not deceived’.  A person can however know if they are deceived in the matters of religion and salvation by reading Jesus’ words. Jesus said that he is to be our only teacher, that is because he will teach us all we need to know, and he doesn’t want us to fall for the deceptions of the false teacher.

Jesus’ words are truth, and the truth will set us free from deceptions.  Keep reading and I will explain how that works.

Chapter 1 – The Basic Understandings

I will share with you some basic concepts and understandings which are not taught in the deceived Christian Churches  because the key to undoing deception, or preventing it, is to start with a basic concepts and understandings based on the Scriptures rather than Church doctrines.

If our basic concepts of; God, sin, salvation, grace, repentance, judgment and authority are wrong, then we are susceptible to deception.

The Christian Church has false teachings built into it, because of a number of false doctrines that have been crafted and adopted by the Church over a thousand year period beginning in AD 324.  These false doctrines were crafted by leaders of the Church, but they do not hold Jesus’ word or YHVH’s word as a ‘supreme authority’.  So a number of those doctrines are not compatible with Jesus’ teachings.

I will share with you some basic concepts and understandings which are not taught by the deceived Christian Churches, which we will need to know them to overcome the greatest deception.

    YOUR SUPREME AUTHORITY

A being (person, spiritual being, or organization) expresses its authority by the laws, rules and commands it issues.  We all have many authorities in our lives: parents, teachers, bosses, police, IRS, Government authorities, medical authorities, religious authorities, YHVH God, Jesus, etc.  When we obey the laws, commands or rules of a being, we have accepted its authority over us.  When we reject or ignore a being’s commands, rules or laws, we are rejecting (or spurning) that being’s authority over us, and that dishonors that being.

While we have many authorities to obey, we all have only
