About this ebook

God created all people. Within the total of humanity God has a group of people that He considers His own, His chosen people. These chosen few were given a name that defines who they are, and what makes them separate from all other people. That name of course is ‘Israel’. “Israel” means ‘one who struggles with God’. It’s one who wrestles with God’s Divine authority, i.e., His commands, laws and promises. And after the internal struggle is over, they surrender their own wills to submit to YHVH’s Divine will.

The problem is, we are all born with a selfish nature, that is, we are by nature self-centered, self-absorbed and we elevate self to top priority in our lives and we desire to be self-ruled and put self first– we don’t want anyone telling us what to do. We by nature don’t want to submit to anyone else’s authority. However, YHVH God calls on us to humble ourselves and submit to His Divine authority. And our internal struggle must happen in order to do that, we must crucify ‘self’, i.e., self-love, selfishness, self-centeredness, etc. And that is what Jesus called us to do, in order to be one of God’s chosen people; Matthew 16:24, “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” And Luke adds the word ‘Daily’. And when we are able to do that we are true children of Abraham and partake in a covenant relationship with YHVH God, by fulfilling the stipulations of the Covenant, becoming Israel and receiving the promise of eternal life.

In this book I will examine the Scriptures to see what it alone says about who is the true Israel. I will draw on many of scriptures from the New and Old Testaments which tell us how we can be true Israel. By the time you are done with this book, the answer you are seeking will be obvious.

    THE PREFACE

The Premise for this Book; It is my understanding that the Bible is YHVH (Yahoveh) God’s word, and its authority supersede all other authority, including religious instruction, doctrines, creeds and teachings.  And Jesus spoke YHVH God’s words with YHVH’s authority, according to Deuteronomy 18:18-19, Acts 3:22-23, 7:37, John 12:49, 14:10 making him YHVH’s anointed prophet (‘Messiah’ in the Hebrew language and ‘Christ’ in the Greek language) and that’s why Jesus said that we be judged according to how we keep his words (John 12:47-48), and if we kept his words we would see life (Matthew 7:24-25, John 6:63, John 14:23-24) and if we don’t keep his words we will not see life (Matthew 7:26-27, John 8:51).

All ‘truth seekers’ must be willing to honestly compare their church teaches to what is written in the words of YHVH God.  If you are willing to do that, you too are a truth seeker, and one who finds the narrow gate leading into the narrow way.

    THE INTRODUCTION

God created all people.  Within the total of humanity God has a group of people that He considers His own, His chosen people.  These chosen few were given a name that defines who they are, and what makes them separate from all other people.  That name of course is ‘Israel’.  Israel means ‘one who struggles with God’.  It’s one who wrestles with God’s Divine authority, i.e., His commands, laws and promises.  And after the internal struggle is over they surrender their own wills to submit to YHVH’s Divine will.

We are all born with a selfish nature, that is, we are by nature self-centered, self-absorbed and we elevate self to top priority in our lives and we desire to be self-ruled and put self first– we don’t want anyone telling us what to do. And that is what Jesus called us to do, in order to be one of God’s chosen people; Matthew 16:24, Then Jesus said to his disciples, Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me."  And Luke adds the word ‘Daily’. And when we are able to do that we are true children of Abraham and partake in a covenant relationship with YHVH God, by fulfilling the stipulations of the Covenant, becoming Israel and receiving the promise of eternal life.

In John Chapter 6 Jesus tells us that we must partake in his flesh and blood to receive eternal life, and that message offended many and confused his disciples – as it confuses and offends many Christians today.  Jesus then clarifies what he said in 6:63 he tells us that it’s his words that give life.  ‘Eating his flesh and drinking his blood’ is a metaphor for believing, accepting and keeping his words. A few verses later Peter referred to Jesus’ words and the ‘words of eternal life’.

We can either go back to the Old Testament to learn how to be in a covenant relationship with YHVH or we can listen to, and heed Jesus’ words.

What was it that Jesus told us to do to inherit eternal life, and to be among God’s chosen people, Israel?  Jesus had a lot to say, but it could all be summed up by him telling us to ‘keep YHVH’s law and the Prophets’ (Matthew 5:18-19) and to worship YHVH alone (Matthew 4:10), or in other words to simply to submit to YHVH’s Divine authority.

    In this book I will
