Adam and Eve were deceived in the Garden of Eden by the serpent that is the beast of Revelation. Because of what they did, following that deception, they were banished from the Garden. What did they do that was so bad? They did nothing other than what the Christian churches teach and preach. Adam and Eve were simply keeping 'church doctrine', which tells us that we don't need to keep God's Old Testament laws, we can ignore them, and we will "surely not die" - even though Jesus spoke contrary to those doctrines.

THE PREFACE

The Story of Adam and Eve is the first human story in the Bible.  It is also, perhaps, the most important and most prophetic story.

Adam and Eve committed a grievous sin that caused them to be cast out of the Garden of Eden, and never allowed to return.  They committed that grievous sin because they were deceived, (believing the serpent’s lie).  That same lie is still being told and accepted as doctrinal truth in our churches today   While the serpent promised that those who bought into his lie would not die, but that lie is costing many people their eternal lives.  That’s why we need to study this story, analyze the lie, so that we don’t make the same mistake that Adam and Eve, and millions of Christians have already made.

THE INTRODUCTION

When God placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they were in paradise. Up to this point Adam and Eve never knew what it was to be in want, they had everything to live a happy and healthy life.  There was only one thing they didn’t have, and they didn’t even know they we missing it, until that serpent’s deceptive lie revealed it to them.

The goal of a commercial ad is to make us desire a product, whether we need it or not. The advertiser’s job is to convincing us that we somehow need their product and it will in somehow make our lives better, happier, easer, etc.  Often we don’t even considerneeding that product until we see the ad, and then we say to ourselves, Yah, I could sure use that, it could make my life better, it could make me …..

The serpent could have been a professor at the University of Advertisements.  The serpent, with few false promises, offered Eve something she never thought of, something she didn’t need, and she bought it anyway, and at a huge price.

God didn’t put the serpent in the Garden to tempt Adam and Eve, but He allowed the serpent to be there and to tempt them.  Adam and Eve were deceived by the same deceptive lie which is still prevalent in the Churches today, it is even considered a doctrinal truth. 

The Garden the serpent and the lie are ultimately all part of God’s test for Adam and Eve, and it’s the very same test He has for us. But, being well armed with the knowledge of the test and to deceptive lie, as I share in this book, will help us to know what the test is and how to pass the test.
