About this ebook

In the Book of the Revelation we see two mysterious signs, and all people will receive one or the other, the “mark of the beast” or the “seal of God”. The Scripture clearly tells us that "many" will receive the mark of the Beast and walk on the Broad way to eternal destruction, and a 'few' will have the 'seal of God' and receive eternal life. Those with the ‘mark of the beast’ will end up in the ‘lake of fires with burning brimstone’. Yet those with the ‘seal of God’ will end up in the New Jerusalem eating off the tree of life.

Revelation 12:9a, “... that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world …” Revelation 13:3b, “… and all the world wondered after the beast.” Many Christians, most all, are deceived into worshiping the beast today, and thinking that they are worship the one true God. Why and how did such a deception come into the world and how was it able to deceive 'the whole world'?
I will show you from the Scriptures what the deception is, so you may be aware of it. I will also show you from the Scriptures how people can avoid the mark of the beast and receive the ‘seal of God’. But be prepared, for this book will change your concepts on God and the Church.

    THE PREFACE

It is my understanding that the Bible is God’s word, and its authority supersedes all other authority, including religious instruction, doctrines, creeds, traditions, and teachings.  Therefore all ‘truth seekers’ must be willing to honestly compare what their church teaches to what the Bible alone teaches.  If you are willing, be prepared to be surprised and amazed.

We all grew up believing that what we were taught as children is the absolute truth, but if we keep studying, sometimes we learn that it is not.  And if that’s the case, you must be willing to set aside what you have learned if it is in conflict with the Holy Scriptures.

Within the New Testament Scriptures, if there is ever a conflict or confusing between two verses, Jesus’ words always take precedent – they are the gold standard because he speaks the Father’s words.

Although some people will be offended by what they read in this book, please note that it is not my intentions of offend anyone.  But I know that religion can be a personal thing for many people, and, I have no doubt that what I have to say will go against most people’s personal beliefs.  And I’m sorry if what I say offends you, my only intent is to share what I have learned in decades of Bible study so that others may be snatched from the jaws of eternal death.

    THE INTRODUCTION

There has been much speculation about the Mark of the Beast – it’s reported to be everything from an implanted chip to a tattoo.  But the mark of the beast is not a physical mark, but rather to humans, it is the acceptance of a deadly teaching, which may manifest itself in visible and invisible characteristics. For humans, it’s not always evident as to who will receive the seal of God or the mark of the Beast. The corruption that causes one to receive the mark of the Beast is internal, even while that person may appear to be a very ‘nice’, religious and moral person.

The mark of the beast is for end time identification.  I can assure you that you don’t know anyone who currently has the Mark of the Beast – unless we are at the end of time. And even if they have it, you can’t see it.

However, I’m also certain that people you know, who, if they don’t repent, will receive it if they are alive at the Second Coming.  Everyone that receives the mark of the Beast has no idea that they will get it, and no idea that they have it.  They may be very religious and consider themselves to be nice people, good Christians, and even claim to love God.  They are assuming that they are ‘in line’ to receive the ‘Seal of God’ but that’s not what they will receive, because they were deceived and they will receive the ‘mark of the Beast’.  How do I know that?  We know that nearly all of the people alive today are deceived and wondering after the Beast. And that will become apparent when you learn who the ‘beast’ really is. Revelation 12:9a, "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world . Revelation 13:3b, and all the world wondered after the beast."  I will clearly demonstrate how this happens.

The Mark of the Beast or the Seal of God will be in the forehead of all people at the end of time, seemingly for purpose of identifying to which group people they belong to.  Identification apparently is needed by the angels and is necessary because God instructs them to inflict plagues which will afflict only those with the mark of the Beast.  According to Matthew 13:41-42 they will gather those who ‘practice lawlessness’, seemingly they had a mark to identify them.

Why the ‘forehead’?  Immediately behind the forehead is the ‘frontal lobe’.  The frontal lobe is the part of the brain that is the control center, governing your behavior, actions, conscience and character.  The ‘Mark’ or ‘Seal’ identify who is in control of a person’s ‘frontal lobe’.  While many translation say that the mark of the beast and the seal of God are ‘on the forehead’, the Greek really says ‘in the forehead’, that is the brain.  KJV and a number of other translations get it right.

In this book I will draw on many of scriptures from the New and Old Testaments.  By the time you are done with this book you will clearly understand essential truths about the Mark of the Beast and the Seal of YHVH.  And in addition you will learn why it is important to use God’s sacred name, YHVH.

I pray that YHVH God will be your Teacher and your Guide as you study the material in this book.  I pray that you will not just informed, but that you and your relationship with God will be transformed by what you read.

    Blessings as you study,

Chapter 1 – First Things First

    FIRST READ THIS…

Right up front, before we even look at the ‘beast’, the ‘Mark of the Beast’ or the ‘seal of God’ we need to have a basic understanding about sin and sinners.  I need to share this with you because it is important for the understanding of the ‘Beast’, his mark and the ‘seal of God’ and secondly, it’s not taught by our lawless Christian churches.  And now you are saying, ‘my church isn’t lawless’.  But wait until you hear the Biblical definition of lawlessness before you judge that.

Let’s understand what the Scriptures means by ‘lawlessness’.  Jesus will say to those who practice lawlessness at the gates of heaven, (Matthew 7:23), And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!  Jesus added (Matthew 13:41-42), "The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."  So we need to know what it is to practice lawlessness so we can avoid being among them.

Sin is a lawless act.  And we all sin, commit lawless acts, but that is not ‘practicing lawlessness’.  The Greek word for ‘lawless’ means ‘without the law’.  People who practice lawlessness are people who sin because they reject, set aside and ignore God’s law (all or parts of it).  They believe that they are not under the law, so they presume that to violate those laws is not a sin.  And since they figure that they don’t have to keep the law and thus they never repent for violating it.  That continual violation of God’s law without repentance is practicing lawlessness.

Right now you probably saying that we’re are not under the law and don’t have to keep it.  Is that true?  Keep reading and we will see what Jesus had to say about keeping the law, and you may be surprised.  But first…

SAVED BY GOD’S GRACE NOT BY LAW KEEPING, BUT…

I suspect that some Christians, indoctrinated with Paul’s Epistles, are saying, Yes, we are lawless, but we don’t need to keep the laws because we are saved by grace apart from the law.

And I agree, salvation is by grace alone and that is a major teaching of Judaism and the Christian Church, yet the Christian Church, using Paul’s writings, gets it wrong as to who will receive God’s saving grace.  They get it wrong because the Christian Church embraces Paul’s salvation message, at the expense of Jesus’ salvation message.  For Paul, the faith that produces saving grace is an intellectual belief, or knowledge – apart from the law.  We are told in the Christian Churches to ‘just believe’ or have ‘faith in Jesus’, receive the sacraments, be baptized, and we will receive our saving grace. However, that’s contrary to what Jesus said and what the rest of the Scriptures teach.

While we are not saved by our external and mechanical keeping of God’s law, neither are we saved by intellectual knowledge only.  Our prison systems are full of criminals who intellectually ‘believe in Jesus’ – they will be judged by man and by God and found guilty of their sins and crimes.  Once we understand what grace is, then we can easily determine who will receive it, who will not receive it and why.

‘Grace’ is what God gives to certain people whom He favors, and He finds favor with those whom He loves.  That grace comes in the form of: mercy, compassion, forgiveness, kindness, tenderness, pardon, patience, etc.

Who is it that has God’s favor and will receive YHVH’s saving grace? Let me ask; who do we show favor, or grace, to?  We obviously favor those whom we love and it’s to them that we show our grace, i.e., mercy, compassion, forgiveness, kindness, tenderness, patience, pardon, etc.  And YHVH God favors those whom He loves and to them He gives His grace by showing them: mercy, compassion, forgiveness, kindness, tenderness, patience, pardon, etc.

God gives mercy (saving grace) to those whom He loves, not because they somehow earned it, but rather because He loves them.  Esther 2:17 (NKJV), The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight …. God too shows favor to those whom He loves and they will receive His saving grace.

So, when we receive YHVH’s grace on Judgment Day, it will be our saving grace. The next question has to be; how do we get YHVH God to love us with the type of love, or the level of love, that causes Him to favors us, resulting in us receiving His saving grace?

While God has a generic love for everyone (John 3:16), not everyone has the type of love, or amount of love, which will result in them receiving His saving grace. If that were the case, then everyone would be saved and we know that’s not the case.  So, how do we get YHVH God to love us with a love that will result in us receiving His saving grace?  Fortunately, the Scriptures tell us, in the Old Testament and the New Testament – for all who have an ear to hear.

    The New and Old Testaments clearly tell us that God loves those who love Him and keeps His commandments;

Exodus 20:6, "but showing mercy (grace or lovingkindness) to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments."

Deuteronomy 5:10, "but showing mercy (grace or lovingkindness) to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments."

Deuteronomy 7:9, "Therefore know that YHVH your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy (grace or favor) for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments"

John 14:21, Jesus said, "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves
