The Beast, His Image and 666

Revelation 14:11 (NKJV). “And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name”. The mark, or the number of his name is 666.

According to the Book of the Revelation we are all worshipers, and when we understand what worship really is, there's no denying that we all worship, even the atheist. And, interesting enough, according to the way YHVH God sees it, there are only two objects of worships: either we worship YHVH God, or we are worshiping the Beast and (or) his image. If we worship YHVH God we will receive His seal on our foreheads. If we don't worship YHVH God, we are in effect worshiping the beast, and (or) his image, and we will receive his mark ‘666’.

The beast first appeared to humans in the Garden of Eden, in the form of a serpent. There the cunning beast deceived Eve and caused her and Adam to spurn YHVH’s divine authority and eat the forbidden fruit. That same deceptive message is being preached and taught by the ‘image of the beast’ today and it is causing millions to worship the beast.

Who would ever worship the beast and his (or) image? You would be surprised how many hundreds of millions of people, including Christians, unknowingly worship the beast, and I know that’s hard to believe, but you will understand when I explain what true worship is.

Who is the Beast? Who is His image? What is their deceptive message? What is 666 and what is it for? How does the Church actually promote the Beast’s message? How do people unknowingly worship the beast? What is true worship? These questions and many more will be answered in this book.

Also, please note; God sacred name, YHVH (sometimes pronounced, Yahoveh, Jehoveh, or Yahweh) was in the original Hebrew Bible more than 2000 times.  However, the Bible translators, for centuries, have removed God’s sacred name from the Bible and replaced it with the phrase ‘the LORD’.  In the verses which I have included in this book, I have restored God’s sacred name YHVH where the translator had substituted ‘the LORD’.  I did that for clarity and understanding.

THE PREFACE

I attended a major Protestant seminary, but in my senior year I found that it was impossible reconcile Jesus’ words with Christian Church doctrines, so I had to choose between Jesus and the Church.  I chose to follow Jesus and dropped out of the seminary.  In keeping with Jesus' words (Matthew 23:10), I made him my only spiritual and religious teacher. So, I set aside church doctrine and the rest of the New Testament and focused on Jesus’ words alone.

After focusing on Jesus’ words, I eventually had to separate myself from the Christian Church in order to follow Jesus. After 70 years in the Christian Church and listening to priests, pastors and teachers, and being indoctrinate with church doctrines and creeds, Jesus’ words set me free from their deceptions.  The priests, pastors and teachers aren’t evil deceivers, they are nice people, but they themselves are deceived by faulty Church doctrines and church creeds.

After studying Jesus’ words I now understand that the Christian Church’s worship service dishonors both Jesus and God, so I will not attend.  I will explain all of that and more in this book. 

The serpent beast in the Garden used a lawless deceptive message to deceive Eve and cause her to violate God’s law.  That same message is being used by the ‘image of the beast’ today to deceive those in the Church who will listen to him. Only Jesus’ words will set us free from that deception, and inoculate us from being deceived.

The serpent beast’s message and Jesus’ message are two contradictory messages that are each in the New Testament, and they are at the heart of the eternal struggle that is going on for the souls of people.  Let’s take a look at their messages and the effect on those who accept them.

So, put your seat belt on, lower your defenses by setting aside manmade creeds and church doctrines, and open your mind to Jesus’ words, and then hang on for a ride that will change your life now, as well as your eternal life.

Since we were commanded to worship God alone, any worship that is not directed towards God is, according to God, ‘worshiping of the beast or his image’.  Our eternal destination will be decided based on who we worship.  Those who worship God will be redeemed from eternal destruction, while those who worship anyone other than the God of the Bible will be lost.

We all worship, even the atheist worship, although they would never refer to it as worship.  But, whether they know it or not, they worship the beast.

Who would ever worship the beast and his (or) image?  You would be surprised how many hundreds of millions of people, including Christians, unknowingly worship the beast, and I know that’s hard to believe, but you will understand when I explain what true worship is.

Revelation 12:9, 13:3, So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him…. ...And all the world marveled and followed the beast.  People are deceived and believe that they are worshiping God, but they are really worshiping the beast and his image and don’t even know it.  And the Book of the Revelation was written to those in the Christian Church, so the deceived people spoken about in these verses are deceived Christians.

Virtually nobody would intentionally worships the beast, except a few Satan worshipers, so, could you be one of those hundreds of millions of people who are deceived into unknowingly worshiping the beast or the image of the beast? You may be surprised.
