Subjects of the Bible Explored
Author

Carl Verner Cederberg

Through diligent study I have tried to piece together like a Jigsaw puzzle what each of the 39 original Authors of the Holy Bible had wrote on a subject! I always felt I was missing the deeper truth and there was more to Gods Word. My parents were both immigrants from Sweden and followed the Lutheran religion Raised as a Christian my thirst for truth began in earnest in 1989. In 1995 I traveled to Israel and was given the title “JERUSALEM PILGRIM” by the Jewish Mayor. I was baptized at the traditional baptismal site of Jesus in the Jordan River by total immersion. I had traveled to Sweden but when I walked through the Bung Gate in Jerusalem I felt an overwhelming peace and felt I had come Home. Now at 81 years of age I would love to share my journey to uncover the deeper story.

    Preface

Warning: This book will not work with the newer printed Holy Bibles, which have removed or changed that Jesus was God’ son and any reference to John 3:16 that says, For God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This book may not be well received by those preachers or churches that have been taught religion based on a single verse here and a verse there or a prescribed doctrine they must follow. Jesus only approved two out of seven churches in Revelation chapter 2 and 3. When Jesus walked the earth (even the Muslim religion confirm this), he preached in the synagogues were they had the original scrolls or the Old Testament and questioned them! Jesus asked several times, and he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read?

Those who have felt there must be more to what they have been taught or only read the Bible once are the ones I hope this book will offer the inspiration to look for the deeper story and truth and be able to follow the various subjects recorded by the thirty-nine or more different inspired writers of God’s letter to us—found in the pages of the Holy Bible.

I have used a copy of the original manuscripts, the 1611 KJV, the NIV, Smith’s Bible Dictionary, and the Strong’s Concordance to unlock the deeper story to the best of my ability, but realize I have only begun my journey.

I fully endorse the Ten Commandments including the fourth regarding the Sabbath or day of rest. Because of His work on the cross, we can now revere God any or every day of the week?

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Jesus became our Passover or High Sabbath; 1 Corinthians 5:7, For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: as a true Christian everyday with Jesus and the Holy Spirit in our heart and mind is our Sabbath Day; and in Luke 23:54, It was Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was about to begin.

Then we learn in John 19: 31: Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jews did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down.

As a Christian, my thirst for truth began in earnest in 1989. I went to Israel and was baptized in the Jordan River.

KJV Genesis 1:1–2: In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was* without form. NIV Genesis 1:1-2. 1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2. Now the earth was* formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

Having purchased a New International Version of the Holy Bible I noticed that the word (was) had an asterisk, the second was in the same scripture had no asterisk. Looking at the bottom of the page, there was written or became.

Note in the original manuscript there was no second was some Bibles correctly italicize the second was to denote that it was added for clarity.

This, along with various scriptures, caused me to think (what?) or question (why?) as an example after God had created the male and female or mankind.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. (Gen. 1:28–29)

Why do we read later and there was not a man to till the ground? Why is there a need to be a farmer?

Why is after Noah’s flood in Genesis 10:1–7 the list of descendants of Noah is interrupted by verse 10:5 that mentions the Gentiles divided in their lands?

Then we read Jesus in the Gospel of John 8:44: You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. Were there survivors of the flood?

The Bible written by thirty-nine inspired authors is like a jigsaw puzzle. When correlated, they can provide the answer to a question or a solution to a problem.

Romans 11:8: (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

1 Corinthians 2:10: But God hath revealed them unto by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.

    AND THEIR EYES WERE OPENED

    AND THEY BEGAN TO HEAR

    THE WORD OF GOD.

Matthew 7: 7: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

    Chapter 1

Who Agrees with the Holy Bible?

Most scientists and archaeologists tend to agree that the earth is billions of years old and that there was an age when there were plants, trees, and huge animals, some capable of flying. They claim that the dinosaur, along with plant life from which we get coal and oil today, were destroyed by a huge comet that struck the earth. This also knocked the earth off its axis. We now have a true north and a magnetic North Pole. This slight shift in the axis has also created our four seasons. The striking of this huge comet on earth is thought to have caused a great cloud of dust that blotted out the sun and moon from the earth. The earth cooled and ice covered the earth and all forms of life perished. The dust took a long time to settle.

Some biblical scholars claim that the earth is only about seven thousand years old and that the dinosaur, along with the plant life from which we get coal and oil, was destroyed and is the product of Noah’s flood. The evolutionists or atheists seem to want to believe in the scientists up to a point but claim that life then started from a single cell that split and ended up as mankind.

In this book, we will attempt to follow a subject and the connecting subjects in other chapters, searching for the deeper wisdom, written by different authors who penned the inspired words of God to find the deeper truth, with a prayer and asking for understanding and wisdom from our Creator—God, in Jesus’s name. It will not be well received by those who only have been taught religion by a preacher of a church that base their teachings on a single verse here and a verse there or a prescribed doctrine. Jesus only approved two out of seven churches in Revelation chapters 2 and 3. Those who have felt there must be more to what they have been taught or only read the Bible once are the ones I hope this book will serve as an inspiration to look for the deeper story and truth and be able to follow the various subjects recorded by the thirty-nine or more different inspired writers of God’s letter to us.

I have used a copy of the original manuscripts, the 1611 KJV of the Bible (words like thou have been changed to you etc.), the NIV of the Bible, Smith’s Bible Dictionary, and the Strong’s Concordance to unlock the deeper story to the best of my ability. I fully endorse the Ten Commandments including the fourth regarding the Sabbath or day of rest.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. I was baptized at the traditional baptismal site of Jesus in the Jordan River by total immersion. Two pastors were present and laid hands on me. I did not receive the gift of tongues, but we all receive a gift: 1 Corinthians 12:4–11. I believe mine was To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit. At this printing, I am eighty-one years of age.

    Chapter 2

Who Is Satan and What Are the Three Earth Ages?

We read the following in the book of Revelation 20:1–2: And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. We can tie this to a verse in the Old Testament—Isaiah 14:12–13: How you have fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how you are cut down to the ground, you who did weaken the nations! For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. This name Lucifer for Satan will be validated as we continue with our study.

In Genesis, we learn that Satan was referred to or represented by a tree:

And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food; (good for food but there were also) In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (Gen. 2:9)

And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. (Gen. 2:15–17)

The tree of Life can only relate to Jesus; the other tree had evil and represents Satan. Satan’s MO was using his good side to attract Eve then letting his evil side take over; here we can ask the question why. Was that old serpent, the devil or Satan, related to evil? Was he the reason for the end of the first earth age?

For years, I was confused by the word Tyre, which was used three times in the NIV and only once in KJV.

In the NIV, 1 King 5:1 says, When Hiram king of Tyre; in Ezekiel 28:2, Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre; and in Ezekiel 28:12–13 Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13. You were in Eden the garden of God.’ Was the whole earth a garden? 14. You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones.

Then we read in verse 15: You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. As we continue our study we will learn this was Satan and God had put him in charge or as a ruler a King of the first age. In the KJV, 1 Kings 5:1 says, And Hiram king of Tyre; in Ezekiel 28:2, Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus; and in Ezekiel 28:12, Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus. Looking up the word Tyre in the Smith’s Bible Dictionary and then the Strong’s Concordance, we find that the two words are related to the word platypus or old Tyre and are interchangeable, but the student of the Bible must rightly divide the word.

Strong’s no. 6865 Transliterated: Tsor Phonetic: tsore Text: or Tsowr {tsore}; the same as 6864; a rock; Tsor, a place in Palestine:—Tyre, Tyrus. tsur. See 6697. Strong’s Number: 6697 Transliterated: tsuwr Phonetic: tsoor Text: or tsur {tsoor}; from 6696; properly, a cliff (or sharp rock, as compressed); generally, a rock or boulder; figuratively, a refuge; also an edge (as precipitous):—edge, X (mighty) God (one), rock, X sharp, stone, X strength, X strong.

Rock could reference God. It is now quite evident that Tyre in 1 Kings is referring to a king of a place in Palestine. We will later connect the word Rock to the good rock and an evil rock when we read of Tyre in the NIV, Ezekiel 28:2: Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In the pride of your heart you say, I am a god; I sit on the throne of a god in the heart of the seas. But you are a man and not a god, though you think you are as wise as a god.

    Then in Ezekiel 28:12–18:

Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: This is what the Sovereign LORD says: You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared.

You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones.

You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.

Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones.

Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.

By your many sins and dishonest trade you have desecrated your sanctuaries.

Here we have read that Satan was created and was in Eden, the Garden of God. This could be the first age. We also read in Genesis that Satan was recorded as being in the smaller confines of the planted Garden of Eden created in the second age! Was the whole earth at one time the Garden of God?

We can also glean from Strong’s the word rock which when used in the song of Moses means, I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he (Deuteronomy 32: 3–4) and How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up? (Deuteronomy 32:30). We can now safely assume their rock is not God but is the rock or Satan, the evil one.

With this information, we can rightly divide the word and move on to the study, The Three Earth Ages. To help understand what we have read above on the day you were created, Satan was anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God [in the Garden of God the first age!]; you walked among the fiery stones. There are no fiery stones recorded in the planted Garden of Eden in the second earth age where God placed the man he had formed ‘eth-’Ha’ ‘ âdhâm the man Adam.

We can also reference the creation of Satan in the first age by a statement in Job: Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. We will learn later that this had to be a dinosaur. Satan was in charge of the first age, but when he wanted to take the place of God, God destroyed the first age. One-third of the inhabitants followed Satan; we can read of them in Revelation 12:4 and 9: His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth and The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. Jesus also said, On this rock I will build my church. By rock, he meant on this truth. With this brief bit of information, we can begin our deeper study of the three earth ages.

The three earth ages. Jesus validated the Old Testament when He said, Have you not read?

Proverbs 1:7: The reverence of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

In this research and study of the Three Earth and Heaven Ages and other subjects or writings contained in this book, I will copy and paste actual biblical verses from the KJV (editing the KJV by only substituting Thou for You, etc.) and the NIV of the Bible and copy and paste notes from Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance and excerpts from the online Wikipedia Encyclopedia. The teaching of Jesus will be copied and pasted in black.

The Holy Bible is translated from the writings of thirty-nine or more various God-inspired persons at different periods of time on three separate continents with no way of direct communication. For mankind, it is a very complex work of various subjects supporting and with scriptures expanding on one another throughout the Bible, thus explaining or revealing the whole truth.

Isaiah 28:10: For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. We must look for and follow the subject in the various writings and scriptures; this can be best understood when we realize God is the true Author while Moses, Matthew, Paul, and the others are the scribes or God-inspired writers.

As we study and assimilate the subjects written by these thirty-nine-plus authors, we will glean that there is one heaven and one earth. The Bible also records that the earth is divided by major happenings or periods of time, thus revealing that there are three earth ages revealed within the writings.

The greater revelation: This study of scriptures should expel any truth to the theory of evolution. God has left us some evidence of the first
