About this ebook

Passover is a significant Jewish holiday, commemorating the Exodus of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. But did you know that Passover also holds great significance for Christians? In "Christ Our Token of New Covenant," we explore Passover from a Jewish perspective and how it relates to the Christian faith.

This book provides a fascinating examination of the Passover Seder, the Haggadah, and the meaning behind the traditional elements of the Passover meal. We delve into the Exodus story and explore how it foreshadowed the coming of Christ as the ultimate sacrifice and token of the new covenant between God and his people.

Through this exploration, we discover the deep spiritual connections between Passover and the Christian faith. We examine the significance of the matzah, the traditional unleavened bread, and how it represents Christ as the bread of life. We also look at the importance of kosher food in both Jewish and Christian traditions and how it connects us to our shared heritage.

"Christ Our Token of New Covenant" is a captivating read that will leave you with a new appreciation for Passover and the powerful spiritual connections it holds for both Jews and Christians. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in exploring the rich traditions of both religions and the deep connection between them

Token Of Our New Covenant - Thabang Tefo

    Preface

This book has challenged me well enough in the phase of writing it. Merely because I could not we lack knowledge of Jewish history. And usually wat we have is not enough. I have been a Christian for so long but what I have learned about the last supper of Christ and Passover, I felt like it was a fresh new teaching, as I learned it from a Jewish perspective.

You learn to appreciate scriptures when you find that Christ is all the scriptures. The whole old testament points us to Christ. Jesus told the Jews of his time that Moses wrote about him and all scriptures point to him. You see Christ in Exodus, Leviticus, Poetry and prophecies. And every biblical Character named in the bible has one or two facets of Christ.

For instance, the ark of Noah symbolised Christ redemption. One family was spared in the times of Noah. In the times of Christ, the whole family of all people around the world is saved from eternal spiritual alienation. Job is the suffering servant like Jesus. Jeremiah too. There are many, these are just only few to name.

Christ as the token of our new covenant bring us freedom and spiritual new birth through his holy spirit. The old has gone, new has come. This is the law in our hearts and minds encrypted by the spirit of Christ. We walk boldly as we taste the power that came with the resurrection of Christ which is a new life of hope, freedom and love. The research I conducted opened my eyes to things I thought a I know, while I knew not.

I find this book simple to read and enjoy, even at a high school level it can be understood. I made a decision earlier in my life that, if you are a writer, If you cannot explain a topic to a 6 years old child and they still do not understand, you have not done a good job. By saying that, my work is not for scholars, but a testimony of the grace and mercy of God to us the redeemed. As the scriptures says Let the redeemed of the Lord says so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.

I am South Africa in Limpopo village called Mohlonong. We have number of illiterate great men and women of God who want to be elevated to the things of God. Sometimes language barrier gets in the way. I am trying by all means necessary to be heard. Well, we write to be heard. We write to teach what the holy spirit reveal unto us. This book is nothing compared to bible. Bible will always be number on the list. It is the book of life. But I promise you that I write under the inspiration of the holy spirit.  This is the day and age of the outpouring of the spirit of the Living God. It goes down in the history of books as it is fulfilling the prophecies of Joel, Daniel, Zephaniah and others.

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Indeed, this are times of the hunger of the word of God. Even Amos wrote about this times. Technology in this last decades, has afforded us resources to of information. The information of this and that. While it is a beautiful thing, it also comes with shortfalls and shortcoming. You have pave your way through deception and falsehood to
