    Preface

There is so much that God wants to do during the end-times but the Church must be positioned to know and understand the secrets. And upon this rock (revelation) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18b). Revelation is the power and language of the glory, and moving in the glory takes entering the glory. Therefore, there is an urgent need for the Church to go faster in God today than any other time in history. The Church is still far behind the finish line with the anointing, and delay tactics will not buy her time for the end-times. The glory will give the Church what no gifts of the Spirit, impartation of the anointing, or the anointing with the Holy Spirit and with power could do for her.

Beholding the Glory offers the depth of the faces of the revelation of the glory of God, which has been kept secret until the coming of Jesus Christ. The end-times have been designed and staged to welcome the Church into the glory of Christ and, therefore, operate in the supreme authority and power of heaven in God.

Knowing and understanding the secrets to this special place in God will turn the Church from a victorious to a ruling Church. The anointing offers the Church a competitive edge, but the glory will crown her with dominion to overcome and rule with Christ over the world and satanic powers. The end-times battle is not only spiritual, but it is also physical. It is unifying the two fronts as one. Unless the Church wakes up to her great high calling of God, which will take the greater authority and power of God, she will suffer great end-times catastrophic defeat.

The Church has yet to do extra-ordinary works that are not possible with reduced authority and power. She must rise to the place and position of the glorified Christ. For the Church to rule she must be appropriately positioned in God, and that means moving from the levels of the outpouring of the Spirit and measures of the release of the power to the glory or the end-times will catch her off-guard.

Beholding the Glory has been written by the revelation of God to show the Church her escape route into her rest. I pray your life will be transformed for the glory of the Lord, in Jesus’s name. Amen.

    In His Love,

    APOSTLE (DR.) JOHN KING HILL

    Chapter 1

    INVESTIGATING THE ANOINTED

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things (1 Corinthians 2:15).

WHEN A PERSON IS said to be anointed, but lacks God’s knowledge, understanding, wisdom, counsel, might, fear of Lord and judgment, that anointing is questionable. The standard by which the kingdom of heaven operates is similar to the kingdom of God. The anointing raises the believer in the ranking of God’s authority and power, and the glory fits him or her in the order of the rulership of God. With the anointing, everything is made manifest, but in the glory, all things are revealed. We must realize that the anointing is the manifested presence of God and not a product of the human imagination or intellect. It is easy to confuse the anointing with theological education and religious expertise. This is why people can operate without the anointing and yet achieve some type of religious success. We must remember that human success, religiously or otherwise, has nothing to do with the life and power of God, which is why some people have no urgent need to seek after God. A person who has a hunger and thirst for the LORD is someone that is looking to go beyond religious relics, traditions and formalities to experiencing the Person of God.

The key to seeing the authority and power of God at work begins with the manifested presence and escalates into the revelation of the glory. We have to know that ignorance and illiteracy does not mix with the knowledge, understanding, wisdom, counsel, might, fear of the Lord and judgment. The more knowledge, understanding, and wisdom we achieve in God, the more we will seek after His counsel with reverential fear to utter or adhere to His judgment. We have to see how everything is tied together. Anointing does not lead to a life of ignorance, or else how could you act promptly, seasonally and timely or under the leadership and inspiration of the Spirit?

Knowledge is the uttering of secrets, so it is conveying the power of theory, which opens to understanding and wisdom — the keys to application and implementation. Knowing truth is the product of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, which is provable through the practical application and implementation and, therefore, equal to faith. There is no greater authority and power than knowledge, understanding, wisdom, counsel, might, fear of the Lord and judgment, so the higher we grow, the deeper experience we will achieve in God. There is no communion with God that does not require a proper approach, and all the keys are secretly concealed. When we say that we are anointed it is an attestation; therefore, we must be evaluated in the light of God’s special qualifications. Besides, we must have God’s character. (See Galatians 5:22-23). This is why it is all about knowing and experiencing God. Our confessions and claims are not heroic declarations, but putting ourselves in the position to be tested and proven.

When God said prove me now, it is not a call to tempt God but to try and prove Him at His word, even as God tries and proves us by our words. Godly relationship is based upon truth. When we say, yes, we will, the LORD God will prove our every word.

How Do I know I am Anointed?

The Spirit of the LORD God is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me (Isaiah 61:1a).

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me (Luke 4:18a).

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power (Acts 10:38a).

If we look closely at the Scriptures, we will see that the anointing is always associated with work, whether it is labor or warfare. We need to understand the anointing so we will not take wrong steps.

Luke 4:18b-19 says: …Because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Acts 10:38b says: …Who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

With the disciples: Jesus said, "Ye shall…" meaning, that they did not have the power yet even though they had the Holy Spirit (See John 20:22; Acts 1:8a).

The Holy Spirit is not the power, but He has the
