Therefore, you've been considering ways to improve your website's functionality. Perhaps you're stumped. Far too often these days, I come across businesses who recognize the need to make changes to their website but are unsure what those changes should be. Typically, they seek assistance from website design firms and receive several suggestions for how to improve their website's excitement and cool factor. To be sure, making an entertaining and cool website has some value, but it should not be the guiding principle, as this will result in a very cool e-brochure for your business, and what did you do with your last brochure?
Hmm...possibly in the trash? To be transparent, let me state the following. If you're going to embark on a corporate project involving your website and internet presence, you should consider how your efforts can increase visitor traffic, translate that traffic into leads, and nurture those leads into new customers, as this is how your website can produce additional revenue and develop into a valuable company asset with an exceptional return on investment.

For those unfamiliar with the term inbound marketing, it is a tried and true approach, a process that, when properly implemented, can turn your website into one of the best lead generation websites and definitely one of the most valuable and cost efficient business development tools for your company. Inbound marketing is an approach that combines or couples content creation and production, social networking, landing pages, and lead nurturing with SEO (search engine optimization) and analytics in a way that enables users to repeat activities that result in increased and more targeted visitor traffic that translates to leads that can be nurtured into new company.
