    CONCLUSION

    INTRODUCTION

When people hear the word fasting the first thought on their minds is food deprivation or hunger strike. While they share certain similarities, they are in no way related to intermittent fasting. Regular fasting involves going without food for extended periods while intermittent fasting as the name implies is simply having an eating schedule that allows one to switch between fasting and eating regularly. As far as weight loss goes, intermittent fasting is known to achieve quicker results than any other weight loss program. Other benefits include the prevention and sometimes even the reversal of some forms of the disease. Before we delve into what intermittent fasting is about, it is good to have a slight glimpse at what we shall be discussing in this book. The reason for this book is due to the growing rate of obesity in the world today. On the other part of this two-part series, I gave a sneak peek into the current rate of obesity in the world recently how keto can be used for losing weight. However, here we shall look extensively into how intermittent fasting can be used to lose weight and stay healthy.

Unlike keto dieting, intermittent fasting is not concerned with what an individual consumes, but rather when it should be consumed. This second part of the two-part collection deals with how an individual arranges what they eat and when they eat it. Some people looking to lose weight find it most difficult to follow a diet plan and one of the most difficult, especially for those who are new to weight loss is when to eat and when not to eat during their weight loss program. Well, this book aims to teach the very beginners of weight loss and even the novices about intermittent fasting and what it is all about. The first two chapters explain comprehensively what it is and how it all began, so, with this, we shall take a quick look at the history of intermittent fasting. However, this follows after looking into the various types of intermittent fasting. This will help the reader have a better understanding of this guide and ensure better chances at achieving their weight loss goal.

    CHAPTER 1

    WHAT IS INTERMITTENT FASTING?

The most common thing most persons who seek to lose weight tend to do is worry about what they eat. You rarely find people who worry about when they eat what they eat. While keto dieting has to do with eating specific foods to stay healthy and lose weight, intermittent fasting is concerned with eating at specific times to stay healthy. Intermittent fasting ranges from for certain hours of the day to only eating once a day for a couple of days a week. This way this body not only stay in shape but burns fats as well, especially when coupled with a special keto dieting program. Experts believe that the evolution of the human body has gotten to a point where it can stay without food for long periods, normally ranging from many hours to a couple of days. The history of fasting dates back to prehistoric times when humans had to rely on hunting for their meals and gathering nuts to survive. These hunters could go days without food regardless of how energy-consuming these tasks were.

These activities were more than enough to
