Roberto Torres, AKA Sabor Latino, is a hip hop artist and author from south Jamaica, Queens. Roberto began writing poetry at a young age in his life. As Roberto was growing up, he had to face so many challenges in his life, and was not sure how to deal with them. One day, Roberto was feeling so emotionally overwhelmed, that he decided to write down his feeling in a song. After Roberto completed writing the song, he felt better afterwards. That’s when on that special day, Roberto found his calling in life. He realized that he was put on this earth to be a writer. Roberto has not stopped writing music and poetry since that special day. Roberto is also known in the music world, as the positive hip hop artist named Sabor Latino. He released his first album titled ’Observaciones de mi Vida vol.1, 2013.Roberto has also published three books. His autobiography titled Sabor Latino My Life, 2014, a poetry book of songs and poems titled Sabor Latino Mis grandes canciones y poemas, 2017, and his third recent book titled125 quotes gathered from my life observations, 2018. He also has released a single titled Todo en la vida es posible, 2016, and is currently working on his fourth book titled My observations as a graduate student for 2019 release. Roberto also has recently fished his Master’s degree in education from Lehman College on December, 2016. In addition, Roberto is also a preventive service case planner who works directly with families and children in a public school in Queens, NY. Roberto continues to demonstrate to the world that it does not matter where you come from, because you can still have success in life. Roberto philosophy to the world is "Never give up on your dreams"
