A quick question: if your dinner has no dessert, can you really call it a meal? If your answer is no, then we are both on the same page. When you are strictly on a paleo diet, you feel like there are limited dessert options to choose from but don’t stress yourself my friend, I’ve got you covered!
Yes, we know certain foods aren’t part of the low carb, dairy-free, gluten-free and paleo diets but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give yourself a nice treat with diet-friendly ingredients.
I have put together some of the best paleo-friendly desserts to satiate your prehistoric sweet tooth. So get ready to work with coconut oil, almond and coconut flours (just to mention a few) and naturally sweet ingredients to prepare tasty desserts you’ll want to eat at least one per day.

An Overview of the Paleo Diet
The paleo diet, also known as the Paleolithic diet or caveman diet is a diet that is based on the foods humans in the ancient days might have eaten, such as meat, berries and nuts just to mention a few.
In a nutshell, the paleo diet simply enjoins modern humans to back to eating real, unprocessed foods that are more healthful to the body than harmful.
The cavemen (our ancient ancestors) didn’t have any of the processed foods that abound today and they lived long, healthy and active.
Modern day life has tempered with our eating pattern and habits through the consumption of chemically processed foods and it is not surprising diseases such as diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease
