There is the joy of getting up every three hours in the middle of the night for feeding.
The amazing experience of changing the baby’s nappies while trying to avoid the gut-retching odor.
The wonderful few moments of peace broken by the screams of a hungry baby.
And, if you have a baby boy, as an additional bonus, you may find yourself being sprayed on while bathing the little monster.
Joking aside, motherhood is a wonderful experience. You are not the same old you anymore. Really, truly and forever you are now a mother!
Becoming someone’s mother means that your role in the world has most likely changed slightly. No doubt, you have probably noticed a change in your body too.
Have you noticed a tad too much jiggle when you wiggle? Do you have an increase in aches and pains? Do you feel tired all the time? Maybe you have a shortness of breath? Or are you feeling a bit low, mentally tired, depressed?
Don't worry, all of these things are quite normal after pregnancy but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do anything about it. Even if you were ultra fit before your pregnancy you still may have trouble getting back in shape after Baby arrives.
Ok, so you decided that you want to face this thing now and get back into shape as soon as you can. The problem is you don’t have as much time as you used to.
You have a baby now, and these little monsters eat up a lot of a mother’s time.
How are you going to get back into shape when you have so little time in the day for yourself?
Well, the simple truth is you don’t need to spend a whole lot of time exercising each day if you follow the right program.
Gone are the days where a full hour of exercising was required to keep a person healthy and happy. Don’t misunderstand me, an hour of training is perfectly fine but if you are a new mom and find yourself continuously rushed off your feet wouldn’t 17 minutes of exercising sound a lot more appealing?
