Angela, bring me my file on Mr. Daridin, said James.

She glanced over at him from her desk. He was seated at his own much larger desk, a large window and a view of the city at night behind him, and his office's double doors directly ahead. A small table with seating was off to one side for impromptu meetings, and her desk and the filing area were on the opposite side. It was a very large office.

But James Harrison was, of course, the heir to a very large company.

Certainly, she replied, and rose to head to the appropriate file drawer. It wasn't a company file he wanted. It was his own, personal file on one of the company's board members. She wasn't sure why he wanted it, but it likely had something to do with the reason he seemed so stressed lately. She opened a drawer and bent over to look through it, feeling her skirt pulling tight over her ass. Not that he was likely to be looking. Whatever he was dealing with had him completely focused.

She had to stand over his desk for a long moment before he finally looked up and accepted the file. His eyes met hers for the briefest moment; they were still the same piercing blue, although he looked exhausted. Thank you, he said.
