Wow what a follow-up to book 2! I can see why people gravitate towards this series the most (it might overtake the Prisons trilogy but I am only a couple hours into book 3 so we shall see!). This series has so many twists and turns and ANGST for days! I love the tension between the characters, when they finally let things happen and the spice is *chefs kiss*.

I love the growth of Bliss and her coming into her own. I loved her letting herself be adventurous and in the moment and I wish she were real so I could live vicariously through her. The scandalous and sexy moments at Psychos, her funny friendship with Rebel, the added layer with Scythe and War (OH MY GOODNESS I WANT TO GO BOWLING NOW hahahaha). So many amazing things that made me eager to listen to this audio more and more. So I have been sick with pneumonia and had to wait in line for almost an hour and a half for meds and thank goodness I had earbuds with me so I could escape into this world. I was worried people would hear some of those steamy moments since I only listened to one side of the earbuds but oh well, they would have been shocked but probably would have wanted to learn more haha.

The ending.....oh my goodness I am so happy book 3 was recently released on audio or I would have gone nuts not knowing what happened next. I am intrigued to see how the confrontation will play out between War and Scythe and the rest of the MC. I want to know what really happened to his family (hopefully his mom will wake up and explain things so Vincent doesnt end up dead). I am nervous about a certain bestie though, I feel like he will betray him and it won't be pretty. I also want to see Mama cult leader go down in flames. I also was shocked by Bliss's mom. I kept thinking she was going to show her true colors and go one way and the author definitely teased it but she ended up doing something else and I hope she gets a decent ending in book 3 after what she has gone through.

Book 3 is gonna be electric with the confrontations, I am hoping the rescue mission, Caleb getting his just rewards (and hopefully the warden too). Some cameos I have been dying for, when all the guys come together and admit their wants/feelings and they can be a happy family. Also maybe who will be the next spinoff story. I cannot wait to find out! Oh one thing I was curious of.....so is this a harem of 3 or a harem of 4? I am leaning towards 4 hahaha. I was kinda sad not to get the sad murder puppy much in this one but I get why and it took me a bit but I definitely see Scythe's appeal and feel sorry for what he and Vincent had to go through. Concept is refreshing since its not something I have read/listened to in RH before and it was kinda a MF but I loved it.

And narration was fabulous as always. Love these narrators and duet narration just elevates everything for me, keeps you in the story the whole time, without worry of it swapping back and forth with a narrator not doing their normal voice acting. I will say the maniacal laughter wasn't as bad in this one as it was in book 1, I think because3 Scythe became less of a voice in his head and became his own person. Lots of emotion in this one, they did a great job and I will listen to them more int he future, no hesitation ❤️
