About this audiobook

Hints Of Spice...

When Cin Bradley packs up and moves herself, her mother, and her baby girl away from their home in Connecticut, she has no plans to make a love connection. She’s just trying to get settled into her new house, new job, and new life – until Landry Augustin comes to her front door. Together, they explore the potential of a romance neither was looking for – sweet, and a little spicy.

A Dash of Heat...

Maggie Augustin just wanted something sweet. A bit of self-soothing, to take the edge off the loneliness and heartache she’d been quietly enduring. When she walks away from his food truck, box of beignets in hand, she has no idea that Rene St. Martin – not his pastries – is exactly the something sweet she wanted, with the little dash of heat she needs.

A Touch of Sugar...

Pru Ashford isn't looking for... anything. Which is how she ends up finding exactly what she needs - a perfect balance of savory and sweet.

I didn’t like the readers. As a Louisiana native, I find it appalling when people make the Louisiana drall sound like person is slow or dim-witted.

NIce stories for each sibling. Those narrators though, not so much.

“A Dash of Heat” is the best book of the three “ Sweet Heat” novellas. The characters Cin & Landry where effectively developed. The other two books felt rushed and insincere. More so, Myles Washington voice was annoying, especially him attempting a female/feminine dialogue was weirdly cartoonist

Books were great...However, the male narrator was slightly annoying to listen to. His accent was weird, but I suffered through it because the stories were great!! That doggone Vera..a jealous woman is the worst! Anyway awesome series!

The narrators especially the male one was horrible, the author writes good stories but the narrators ruined the book?

The book was OK but the characters from New Orleans Louisiana were terrible. That’s not how we talk at all I don’t know what your experience is with people from New Orleans Louisiana but that’s not it.

The stories was good. I was not so happy with the narration but wanted to know the out comes. When doing southern accents, having readers from that area would be nice. ?.

I couldn’t finish. Between the narrator’s horrific rendition of a New Orlean accent, and sounding like they read at a 3rd grade level, this was intolerable. The stories are interesting though, so I’ll just go read the books.

I really enjoyed this. I loved all 3 parts. Everybody found love, it all felt genuine and serendipitous, but Part 1 was definitely my favorite! Landry, Landry, Landry whew lol

    So cute.
My only complaint is that they ended right when I wanted them to keep going.
