Ante Up was so freakin' phenomenal! It grabbed my attention from the start to finish and did not relinquish it. The characters were well developed and the story line was excellent. Your heart will break for Asha and you will most definitely fall in love with King. By the time I finished this book, I wanted to learn how to play poker. And, the sex scenes?!!! Oh, man, the sex scenes were steamy and smutty. Just like I like them! The narrators did an awesome job as well. Jakobi Diem and Wesleigh Siobhan bought life into those characters. This was my first book by Christina C. Jones and it will most definitely NOT be my last. I highly recommend this book!

I love the male narrator, I've heard him on other books. This is a good story with ups and downs. I appreciate the details in books from black authors because I can actually relate. The sister Zoriah and bodyguard Ace are characters I enjoyed most.
