About this audiobook

Perfect.Privileged.Strong.Spoiled.Uptight.Useless.If there's any one thing Pierre and Logan have in common, it's their ability to invite snap judgements based on shallow views of who they are.Logan is the privileged only daughter of a respected family whose legacy runs long and deep.Pierre is the moody, orphaned son of big screen royalty who couldn't possibly live up to the prestige of his pedigree.Or maybe not.Perhaps they're just two people trying to navigate the pressures of a world hellbent on telling them what they should be, and eschewing the limits of other people's expectations. Maybe what they need most is somebody who can see beyond the shallow first impressions - just one person they can allow to see behind the scenes of who they are.Maybe they have more in common than it seems.

Ughhhhh, this book was perfect. Another reviewer inspired me to read the book when she said it was "so cute". And she didn't lie. It was adorable. I was sad when it ended. I ADORE that there was no "Black trauma" or extensive suffering to obtain love. It was just a very sweet love story and a lesson about letting go of our "perfectly planned futures". I don't reread books, but I may reread this one ? (The narration was perfect too)

Great story but voice over for Pierre didn't match his character. Seemed more preppy and I could tell he was reading rather than being in character.

Loved this story. Great character development and a plot that was never stagnant. Every scene in every chapter was meaningful. The dialogue between the characters was smart and engaging. Had me looking forward to every time they spoke to each other. Not one of those stress inducing stories that jolt your nerves and make you anxious. Not what this is, but it’s fresh, forward-thinking, and relatable. I like that. Jordan is goals.

I usually dont write reviews but this book gave me everything I needed in a romance novel. It was realistic and refreshing. I love how story had multiple layers to it where everything wasn't just about sex and being in love. I love how the author didn't make marriage the ultimate goal but instead gave the characters their own storylines outside of each other. This is the first romance novel that I ever read that was balanced so well. There wasn't even a moment where I felt frustrated with the characters (which is common when I read romance novels). Thank you Christina C. Jones for a well rounded story.

CCJ does it again!! Pierre and Logan are now one my favorite of her couples. Their down to earth interactions and struggle to find self awareness was a refreshing addition to their love story.

Ooooh wee Christina you left us wanting more at the end!!! But I should have known from Pierre’s chapter the story would end this way. The characters were on point, very relatable not a dull moment at all. This was my first read from this author and I’m compelled to read more!

I love this book. That "Play" line has stuck with me since the first time I heard it and had been trying to remember which book it came from. Christina girl you know you're talented idk how she do it but as long as she keeps putting them out I'm gonna keep listening and reading them!

A little annoyed at the fact that it kept skipping at the end but other than that it was a really cute story.

Really good sex scenes! The book had some funny moments. I wasn't a fan of how they speak...they came off "thuggish" and not well educated. Besides that....not a bad storyline.

Cute story. The plot is kind if similar to Drunk On Love by Jasmine Guillory except of course the setting is different.

Two people have a one night stand not expecting to see each other again and find out they have to work with each other.

Not as steamy as Drunk On Love but still a cute story.

It’s been a few weeks and I’m still thinking about this book. The imprint. I enjoyed it if you didn’t get that lol. Could see a tv series with expansion something like “Love Is”. I’m a writer and this peaked my interest and kept it. The melodramatic played well with particular characters and not the whole book. For that I’m grateful. Keep up the great work in your creative expression

Perfect love story of an unlikely but likely couple. It wasn’t drawn out and loved their backstories, personal dilemmas and budding love. Great voices to match the characters.
