I was going back and forth here. Once I believed their connection and once I didn't. It was an enjoyable story, especially with the male narrator who has an amazing growling voice. It seemed a little out of sorts here as we have totally new characters. I think it has great potential, but some aspects should've had more details.

3.75 hm-i-liked ⭐️'s

Well, I started to like it from the middle of the book. The first chapter was like "??????", I'm pretending that it didn't happen.

The story is good, in general, but idk... I kinda have mixed feelings.
Growl is just AAAWWNN. Both made me roll my eyes at a few moments but I'm starting to think that I just don't like slow burns because I get so pissed when people love each other and just don't admit it even to themselves (which happens a lot in romances but it really makes me roll my eyes). Even so, they make a good couple and I really liked the end.

As for the audiobook, it was great and I think Tor Thom's voice matched the Growl I formed in my head perfectly. Desiree Ketchum's great too.

Favorite book in the series. Heavy beauty and the beast influences in the best way. I loved both these characters and how they grew together, and their romance felt real.

I have loved this entire series, but I am not in love with this book. I think the love story in this one is somewhat bland and the storyline isn’t very exciting. The book is good, I just don’t think it excites me as much as the previous books.
