I've listened to this audiobook probably a good four times and let's just say it's always a good one! Cora really knew what she was doing with this one. I read the reviews and some people said they don't like the narrators voice but I like both of them I even listened to other audiobooks with the same narrators both the man and woman narrators are great!!

The writing was good as always, I just don’t understand how these characters fell in love. Sounds more like Stockholm syndrome. Remo was savage the whole book and did terrible things. Although she is tough, I still don’t understand how his behavior + seducing her led to the final result. I had a much more difficult time falling in love with these two than I did all the other characters (I loved all the other characters!!). In my personal opinion there was a lack of personal connection and tenderness between the characters (I know Remo is not a tender guy) but it still just makes this relationship seem creepy or forced. I know all the previous stories have a similar story line, but the male always showed some tenderness toward the female lead and was not as cruel. Just how I felt about this book in particular, but many others enjoyed enjoyed the read!

My favourite from Cora Reilly, there is just something so magnetic about Remo and Serafina. Definetely very dark and twisted , delicious sin. I liked Serafina a lot better as a female lead than previous ones...and one shouldn’t love Remo but who can resist.

Great story. Unlike Dante and Valentina Vavelleros story you actually get to hear him finally say "I love you" this book gave me all the feels and drama. I loved the twist after she was released. Remo was a character that I hated and in this book I loved to hate him. I was glad she didn't cave to him and he allowed himself to feel without turning into more of a jerk towards her. Her resistance made him work harder without trying to be someone he's not. She fell for him without just becoming a puppet. He was dominant without being degrading. I don't like the anal but that's easy to skip. Her rescuing him was AMAZING. Love the strong woman she is throughout. Spoiler............Savio's reaction to the babies and his comments were the first time I liked him. It was funny. Adamos drug use and apparent falling for a grown woman holds me back from liking him. Not into the pedophilia scenario like that. Glad Fabiano and Matteo got to act out revenge on Rocco Scuderi. Been wanting that since bound to hate.

I enjoyed the audiobook. I had a lot to violent scenes. So it is not for the faint of heart. But the story was Goodwin lots of twists and turns plus a HEA ending. The narration was not great, but the sex scenes were HOT! And the romance was heart warming !

I read this book last year and LOVED it! When I saw the audiobook on here, I decided to give it a go, but unfortunately the audio ruined the story for me. I HATED the female narrator and wasn’t a huge fan of the male narrator either. The female narrator ended every single word on the same breathy intonation, it was extremely annoying and overly dramatic. The male narrator’s voice just didn’t suit Remo IMO, but he wasn’t horrible like the female narrator.

Wow what can I say, this is absolutely amazing! It is one of the best book mafia I have ever read, both characters are mind blowing and amazing to get to know as you read further on the story. It is by far the best book of the series!!!! ??????
