About this audiobook

He’s the arrogant Manhattan realtor with billboards advertising his six-pack more than his expertise in negotiations.

I’m the competing broker who stupidly moved across the hall from his office.

From day one, I’ve been his sworn enemy. Okay, so I might have accidentally stolen one of his clients. Well, is it stealing if the client comes to me?

Even our vicious banter and loathing gazes can’t hide the chemistry between us. Who can blame me? He has enough charisma to make every hot-blooded woman in the city melt with a single word.

Just when I think a mutual respect could be born between us, the biggest developer in the city offers us an opportunity that pits us against each other.

Time to forget Carmelo Mancini’s dreamy eyes and tight abs.

Game on.

I love these types of books. These work enemies have the perfect amount of tension and banter that you know is bound to explode at any point into something more. Carmelo and Bella are both working in the realty market, one does traditional selling and one helps the owner sell them self and save money on commissions. They have already had issues with stealing clients and bad mouthing, and the feud is kicked up a notch when Bella ends up moving her office right across the hall from Carm’s in the same building.

Since this is such a tight knit family, we are revisited many times with Enzo and Annie from the first book. They work in the same building as well as Carm, and Annie ends up befriending Bella. Can Bella and Carm put aside their differences and spend the weekends in the Hampton’s with their friends and family? What will happen when their competition to outsell each other causes so much tension they won’t be able to fight their feelings any longer? Can they still work against each other and explore what is happening between them?

This book is full of great banter back and forth that leads to tension jumping off the pages. We are revisited with old characters which is awesome to see them still in love, and we get more glimpses into the last Mancini brother who appears to be falling for someone himself…. I can’t wait to finish the trilogy!

The narrators are great, with their voices matching each character’s personality. A flowing story and details make this series a favorite that I’ve listened to more than a couple times.
