- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Just not what I was looking for. Probably great for the younger audience but if your a older reader, wouldn’t recommend. The plot seems great as well as the writing but the mc’s personality is too kid-like and giddy for me. Stoped at chapter 8

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I very much liked the personalities , the pop culture references and the idea behind this story. Yet if this story was a sandwich it would be only meat. SPOILER
The main girl might be young but the first chapter was this massive jumble of chaos , intriguing but lacking ! I understand more information was intended to be given with main character but all you know is she doesn’t fit in and she gets over things easy. Who kills their only friend and then falls in love with the dude drugging you a week later?
Overall it was a good read and will be reading the next.2 people found this helpful

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Couldn’t stand it, didn’t even want to finish. The dialogue between characters is lame.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Despite I really wish that not every single fantasy main female character was a 17 years old, I really loved the story so far and the narrator is absolutely great

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This is not a fair review as I didn’t finish the book. I couldn’t get through it because the narration was so bad it was distracting. It sounds like it was recorded by amateurs writing their first play and reading it around a table.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Portal to Faerie. Rival brothers. Captain of the Guard type vs a Princely type. Only one horse. Caretaking. Lochlann Treaty vibes, especially with Olivia King as the narrator ? Faerie is a pansexual realm and has LGBQT+ characters. There's mystery and Intrigue. Who can you trust? What's real? This is a really interesting and exciting. I definitely recommend it!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5First of all, the narrator is the best I've heard recently. Second, this is a YA fantasy of a girl from the human world taken to the fae world. It's not New Adult or Adult, there's romance but no smut. I like that the character feels real for a teenager in being a little rash and emotional, and she's not perfect and great at everything.
Third, the world is built nicely. There's interesting differences in the magic and the kingdoms and people.
Overall, it's a great listen! I'm sure reading would be just as fun.
