The book kept me entertained while driving. I didn't like the way it ended though and hope there will be a 2nd book.

This was a really good light read about a girl kicking butt! I loved the way she incorporated the side show era. The only criticism I have is that she referred to live bugs in Florida which did not exist during this time period. The narrator was awesome as well!

The story is the only thing that kept me from dropping this book. The writing is ok, nothing more. A lot of repeating phrases that are annoying. Not her best work.

First of all, I REALLY love the ideas in this book as well as the characters. However, there is so much DIALOGUE in this story that it wore me out. I don't feel that we really need to hear every single thing that is said between each person as well as so much constant inner dialogue. It must've been brutal to write!
I'm currently stopped over halfway through because I'm worn out, but I'll definitely pick it up again later because I really need to know what happens.

Good story idea but writing is amateur & DESPERATELY in need of an editor to fix plot line holes & inconsistencies.

The story line is interesting but…. The plot holes & story mistakes made me almost angry for ruining the amazing world that was created.
Honestly, the only reason I finished is because I was traveling & did not have the immediate ability to download something else.

That being said - I really would LOVE to read/hear this again after a good editor works it over. Please please get a good editor - I would greatly enjoy an ongoing series.
