Fantastic Female Adventurers

by Lily Dyu

Shrine Bell, £12.99

Review by Eliana, age eight

One of my favourite parts of this book is the map because it maps out the routes that all the female adventurers took. Each of the women went on their own adventures and through this book, I got to explore with them. Most of the time, the journeys were not straightforward and the adventurers came across many difficult situations and choices. However, they never gave up and always persevered to reach their goals. Their adventures sounded fascinating because they got to admire many beautiful sceneries around the world such as the Northern Lights and the view of the North and South Poles. At times, the journeys were rather scary. One adventurer came across a shark when she was swimming across the channel in the ocean. During their journeys they met many friendly and generous people who offered some of them food and a place to stay
