Dommiel has been a major player in the war between good and evil. If you've read the Vessel Trilogy you will know what his role was. He is now an outcast helping the rebels however he can but never taking any one side. Enter Anya with a request that he cannot refuse. Little does he know that his soul is getting a second chance. This was indeed a good read of a bad boy demon finally getting his redemption. Is this what happens when a jaded demon and a warrior angel come together? What was the secret that Anya kept from Dommiel? Why was finding Uriel so very important for Anya? Be ready for a read with lots of action, very intensed 'story between good and evil, hatred, love, vengeance, salvation' and with some very complexed and passionate characters. And let's not leave out the hot passions of attraction as these two Dommiel and Anya who journeyed through the depths of darkness had for each other. Will Anya be able to put her 'trust in this high demon Dommiel to find Uriel and save her soul.' What I especially enjoyed about this story was how the author brought in that 'a soul can always be saved."So, if you are into reading a good story in the Dominion series ... I would definitely recommend "Darkest Heart" and all you will get from the characters, the romance and the world lore...you will simply enjoy it all.
