Erin has other ideas. She’s determined to figure out the strange man who keeps leaving her aroused and unsatisfied. When she pushes Dante for answers, he goes looking for them himself. What he uncovers could put Erin in mortal danger, with him as her only salvation.

Love the novel thus far it is going as expected since the main character is trying to find himself. Including getting his life in order and trying to gain all the was stolen from him. But the distraction with the nurse and bound is very much in the way that he cannot do any time with himself. Good take on the doctor that no one is finding out what she is up to with the patients in the hospital. It is great but this is far slow for the main character trying to find himself and all the years lost in being a blood slave. I did read the book very fast and again will re-read it for more understanding and fun.
In addition, A riveting continuation of the growing attraction--and frustration!--that Dante and Erin face, unable to stay apart but questioning why this feels much worse than one's everyday dose of the hot-and-lusty. I LOVED the push-and-pull in this part of the story, leaving me panting and impatient one minute but then shrieking (and laughing!) in denied pleasure the next. It was a sweet climb, filled with all the best aspects of a slow burn erotic story, and I eagerly lapped up every new scene, which not only gave us more of this couple's undeniably hot attraction, but another piece of the mystery about Dante filled. This is Helen Hardt at her best: giving us tiny pieces of a greater truth that are going to be mind-blowingly awesome. Gah! Such goodness.
