Ms Jewell’s characters were well conceived, their relationships nicely choreographed but it was the narrator’s deft animation of every role that kept me listening, right through to the story’s unexpected and satisfying ending. Bravo, Joanne Froggatt!

Young parents go missing right from the start. Where are they? What happened to them? How could they leave their son? Each new character that's added raises new suspicions. Intersecting love triangles. Twists to the very end! I'll be looking into more Lisa Jewell novels if they're all like this!!
