Story line just a little odd. Parents seemed very out of touch and uninvolved.

I enjoyed the plot however, it was a slow lead up with very unnecessary drag and no follow through. An ok read.

The ending was rather anticlimactic, but it was an intriguing story. Definitely not one of her better books.

Lisa Jewell weaves masterfully yet another psychological suspense with well-developed characters.

I was looking forward to this but it was very anti-climatic for me.

Great story, loved the beginning & middle, was slightly underwhelmed by the ending. An additional chapter might have given it just the inch more it needed to be a book I loved.

My least favorite Lisa Jewel book. It was boring and predictable. I usually enjoy her work and was surprised when the book was over thinking there had to be something I missed.

I think this may be the second time around with me reading and listening to this book, and it never case to make me notice how we women can be responsible for the action in our that changed everything.

Let start by saying I really like other Lisa Jewell books, but even so I would say do not read this book. It seemed interesting at first but then there were so many holes in the character’s stories. There was a lot of suspicion for each person but even after everything was revealed there were a lot of loose ends, not explaining why the person was acting so strangely. Also there is NO JUSTICE! I think that was the frustrating part. I got to the end and was angered by the way everyone just brushed off what had happened.

This one was more of a slow burn and I’ve come to dislike the way jewell sets up her books. She switches POV multiple times within each chapter and usually doesn’t give much of a heads up so I end up getting confused, especially when she’s introducing a bunch of characters and how their lives intertwine. I found the ending to be quite meh, I saw it coming quite early on. And I’ve found the author often includes plot details that I wish she’d touch on more but she barely mentions them. This one felt similar to Watching You.

Disappointed by this book. I’m not sure if she was trying to make it less obvious but the victim blaming isn’t cute. Also don’t really want to read about 13 YOs giving bjs.

First I have to say the narrator was Amazing. She did each voice so well I could picture different people speaking. Bravo!

This story was a cross between a "who done it" & teenage angst. I definitely enjoyed listening to it while trying to figure out what happened, who was the villain & why.

Before listening to the audiobook, I read a few of the reviews & was expecting a cliffhanger but if you paid attention to the story, especially the ending, you Know exactly who did it. The Author doesn't come right out and say, "so & so did it!" But it's there. She says it in a different way.

I gave this story a 4 star because as good as it was, I felt the details dragged on a bit more than I'd like & it felt more like a soft leisurely Murder she wrote instead of an edge of my seat Nancy Drew. But that's just me.

If you like a little mystery, this book is for you!
