Love the story and the characters. Feel so heartbroken for Holden, had me in tears. He's been there for her since she first came to NY and through it all... Gabe, Lucas, and even when Desmond left her the first time. I feel her love for them both, and its a horrible decision to have to make. They're both good for her in their own ways. However, I feel Holden's definitely the one who loves her more. The one who I feel will always be there for her regardless of who comes or goes no matter what happens, good or bad in her life. Yes, I know Desmond also loves her greatly. But he's also proven that he's willing to walk away more than once.

Loved this book but……. I felt the huge historic explanations right in the middle of almost everything exciting killed it a bit - especially when it had no real significance to what was happening - she should have married her vampire! He was her side kick, he slept same time as her and ate similar to her! Poor Holden …… maybe the author could write a book of what her life would have been like if she married Holden
