    The book teaches a very important lesson - don't judge, be a witness, which I think is crucial for rapid weight loss and well-being. The chapter on mediation and how it can affect weight loss is an amazing read. The book does a great job of listing the affirmations for weight loss, and how changing your relationship with food and your emotional state can help in reduced weight.

    This is a wonderful book covering the substantive and sustainable way to lose weight and eat healthy -- changing our attitudes and thinking about food and the lifestyle choices we make. This book makes clear that the key problem for many are unsettled psychological conflicts that cause us to eat as a reflex or on automatic mode vs mindfully, understanding our inner issues and why we eat something.

    I have been researching this subject for a while, and when I came across this book - self-hypnosis for weight loss, I was really excited to listen it, and it sure exceeded my expectations. The book is the ultimate guide for weight loss through positive affirmations and guided meditation.

    I could tell straight away that the author knew her information inside out. Her teachings are very detailed and make you appreciate and love yourself more. I really enjoyed the section on utilising motivation and positive affirmations to build a better body image so you can make the weight loss journey that much more enjoyable and sustainable. This book has such a positive tone, which makes you feel that much more connected to the author.

    The book should be named something a lot broader than hypnosis, which the book states is only method to identify and unlock the emotional impediments that lead to bad eating habits. The overriding point of the book is to free us from bad thinking that holds us down and prevents us from making mindful choices about food and enjoying the experience of eating vs shoveling it down and eating because old habits tell us we should eat.

    My "good" eating habits come and go more often than I'd like to admit, so I knew getting this book was going to force me to look into a mirror. Instead of feeling bad about myself, I got actionable steps on how to slowly change my relationship with food. Highly recommended.
